Also as a provincial government, the Western Cape has limited powers and budgets compared to the national government. Imagine what it could do for the poor if it had national powers and unlimited funds!!

The City of Cape Town was not really a coalition, the ID of Patria De Lille was swallowed in 2010 by the DA! In Gauteng the DA can't dictate and swallow to ActionSA,EFF and IFP! The DA must learn to work with other parties and accept their mayors are failing in Gauteng especially in Tshwane since 2016. Coalitions does not mean you can't hold each other accountable!
