He didn't go to 1989 she pace him and come to 2017 before he go, as you can when she come the time screen in the car was still indicate 1989
He never left. She hopped in his car in 2017 before he could leave to 1989 to go find her.

There's just the little problem of finding yourself in the constant reset phase of a time loop caused by the paradox of you being your own Grandpa.

Nicely done! Note: the 2-way radio on the dash was missing both the antenna and power cords, which makes it rather useless.
They changed it in the future,,, use your imagination and enjoy the hard work they put in.. god bless ya

They don't need them in the future when the car was built, just enjoy it and use your imagination.. they worked hard and gave us pleasure,, imaging making this yourself and being called out for such a silly thing.... God bless ya
