That particular reel has a drag set to 45lbs with the level wind so if the machine weighs 80-100 lbs (guessing) with rubber grip, 45 lbs of pulling force wouldn't move it.
I have seen a similar concept in another product many years ago HORI HPS-97/98 (ps1) game fishing rod controller It's a pity that it only supports one or two games
