Are you bloody serious? JFC.... Also "I'm trying to keep the cat away from him" ??? Are you for real? Recipe for disaster... Also he could very likely be a female. I honestly cant believe you, Laura.
Sooo… you got rid of your last bird (the cockatoo?) because he was too much work and wasn’t fitting in with the farm… then get another?!? This is animal hoarding. I’m sure you’ll have a long winded explanation for this just like you did for filling Poseys uterus. Insanity.
OMG enough already. What next?
Stop collecting animals
It's becoming way too much
@happycanadianfarmer I know they need stop just because you want it does not mean you get it I would love to have two more dogs but is not possible right now
@@puppytrainer2492 exactly it's ok if you have the budget to care for all those animals but I don't think they have the farm building are very old and gonna need work Sam's not fit or very good at building ect he tries their getting older the girls are less n less interested just seen thing getting worse and she keeps getting more animals I bet she'll keep that piglet too it's a disaster
@Nellybelly3423 To me it is more about the time each animal gets like willow and honey and Gracie they are just there cause Sophie wanted them and all the goats She kept saying that they were going to show them haa haa .And all the dogs I don't see them do anything with them why breed the pigs just to have more At some point you should look at it do I have time for all these lives and am I doing the best for them
I don't really agree with birds in cages and buggies live in huge flocks in Australia so they aren't supposed to be alone and I don't think you'll get him talking please get him a mate and a bigger aviary cos that cat will eat him given half the chance you should of kept your parrot as they're the talkers why didn't you keep him he was so cute
A suggestion i have is to tame your little budgie for a month or so and then get him a friend he'll be able to help tame the new bird. Your life is so busy with the farm and animals its going to be hard to give this little one what he needs. Birds are flock animals he needs a constant friend to play and preen dont keep him alone to force him to view you as his only companion and bond to you when you can only dedicate a small part of your time to you. Keeping him alone for a little while to build a bond is fine eventually though he needs a bird companion. I worked for six months on building a good bond with my quaker parrot then got her a companion who became just as tame from learning from my first birds kept alone can get many behavioural habits
Sorry but that English budgie isn't 11 weeks old try more like 6 months to 1 ye old.
Your right definitely not 11 weeks old to big to be 11 weeks
He's not a year or 6 months his cere isn't bright blue I have a year old ones and there cere is bright blue
Didn't you have a parrot before levi wasn't it wot happened to him never heard a budgie talk before
always wondered that myself considering parrots like that have life expectancies close to our own
She said they had to rehome him because when she broke her pelvis she couldnt care for him like she wanted to
@@julieerkulhehe I'm sure he was gone before that
Budgies DO talk! It's a little harder to understand than a bigger parrot, but they can have a huge vocabulary!
@@randiholbrook5849 the thing is she's said she prefers the American budgie so I bet she won't having long enough to get him talking she's got alot of animals to look after and she isn't getting any younger that farm needs and takes alot of work and Sam's not fit enough to do everything needed the girls are growing out of it the horses never get exercised as it is apart from Sophie riding once a week in the summer 🤔
🙄
Laura , get him a stainless-steel water bowl, plastic water bottle Harber germs, even if you scrub them, i had two English exhibits, one passed away so i bought two little males, that was young they were the best i ever had, i bought them in 2020, then one of them passed away last September, ive only just bought another one in January to keep the other one company, sometime its best to keep two, hope this helps, mine drink and bath in there bowl
You are so right to get him a bigger cage! I see so many birds in cages that are too small. He will learn to talk without another bird. He will most likely stop talking if you get another bird. They seem to do that. I'm glad you didn't get an Amazon, Grey or Macaw. They are a LOT of work - 10 times more than a budgie, and they need even more time with a companion (human) than do smaller birds. Seems you have done your research, which about 95% of people don't do when getting a bird. Birds are long-lived, so are a big commitment, although budgies only live for 10 to 20 years, versus a bigger bird that can easily live 60 years or more.
I had one when i was 14 that looked exactly like yours. He used to say ‘pretty boy.’ Then we moved from Texas to NY and couldn’t take him with us.
Blue is so cute, the baby pigs are all adorable
That budgie is so cute.
I forgot you were adopted❤ Can you share a bit about that if your comfortable?🥰
i wonder who would show up (i mean countries guys 😆)
Hi everyone Budgie if it blue nose mean boy and if you see brown mean girl ok so beautiful budgie
@dawndebenham8266 hey, look up the different cere colours for budgies. Sometimes a young female can have a slightly blue cere! Makes it confusing for sure.
Hi all from the UK , thank you for sharing your day .and all the best. 😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍💟💖🐶🐐🐔🐈
Hi fae Glasgow 😁
Good morning fam! Yes, it looks beautiful out but also very cold out there! That Piglet is way too cute, i loves her! I love birds, at one time i had 13 birds! One was a cockatiel, two lovebirds and the rest were parakeets then my health went bad and was unable to care for them so had to find new homes for them. Aww He's a gorgeous little bird for sure! Now that's funny, 3 pigs in a row pooping! 😂😂Everyone looks happy and healthy, keep up the good work! See ya's tomorrow! ❌⭕❌⭕
