I definately preferred the previous Merciless Distortion,this seemed to have a bunch of sizzle that perhaps was enhanced by the lack of thump. Maybe dialing up the bite and backing off the treble might help,but then again that maybe exactly what someone is looking for :) I wonder if Richard did anything more with the open-source HM2 he was working on, seemed like a really cool idea.
Mine showed up missing a chip. I have to return it and have them send a new one, I was super excited for it. Hopefully once I get a functional one that excitement will be restored.
Cool pedal but the low and bite controls are too close to the footswitch. Black dials on a black pedal - you will have to be extra careful with seeing and placing your foot in the middle of a song on a dark stage. I'd have to pull the chicken head knobs off those two potentiometers
