This drama is a masterpiece. The way they have shown the Narcissist character is mind-blowing. 12 years ago I was in the same situation very similar to Adeela. By the grace of Allah Almighty, I took a step and left the narcissistic husband. My three kids are grown up now. We live in the USA. This was the best decision I made for my children. The Narcissist husband only loved himself. He was neither a good father nor a husband.
Same here I put up with my husband for 20 years,now my boys are grown up and I count myself the luckiest woman on earth,no stress no fake pride I sleep peacefully at night
Both of you’ll are courageous women. I was a coward and afraid and dependent with 3 children, the step and decision I didn’t take at that time always thought things will change with time, but it became worse . I regret that why I didn’t leave , l and my children suffered a lot physical and mental abuse. He left me hanging ( 42 years of marriage) at this age to marry a young woman ( gold digger) .

And he’s a rich and influential man , he would have left no stone unturned to destroy me and my children. Narcissist doesn’t spares his children also .

I don't understand why Adeela is still not kicking her husband out of the house, after being severely humiliated by him, as if it wasn't enough. It is really disappointing to see that an educated woman like Adeela is struggling to make the right decision for her children's and her sake. It is extremely important for us women to under our value. Until and unless we acknowledge our value, people will use and abuse us. and we'll keep making the same mistake and suffer in life.
As a third person we can say that, but a victim of narcissistic abuse mostly acts like this. Whatever she is doing is extremely wrong with herself and her children but the toxic roots are tooo deep that it take time and courage to cut them. But now atleast in this drama she should take action because it’s unbearable

This drama is such an underrated gem! Its cleverly written and brilliantly performed. They have touched the so many recent problems of this modern world. The need to feel validated and seen can make you do stuff you regret later.
