This is so cool. Thanks for making this video! I'm also working on a video on bizarre flat rides in general, and some of these will inevitably be in it.
Nice, if you need any help finding some of the original sources let me know, I found that Facebook of all places has a lot of "Chinese ride sales" groups that a lot of these rides came from. Also I totally did not steal your thumbnail design for this video ;)
The spinning Jesus ride is hilarious. The Jesus statue kind of looks like that one statue in Rio de Janeiro (the classic). Is it "Rio de Janeiro" roller coaster now?
Just a thought: At least here in Germany roller coasters have to make it through a bunch of tests and certifications. Maybe that golden horse coaster is just...bad. Or the certifications would make it so expensive that the parks can just buy a western one.
I remember when I first heard about golden horse I thought "this company is gonna go nowhere" but now, after seeing things like that spinning coaster, I think they have a place in the industry
@@revimfadli4666 There are so many spinning coaster manufacturers that its impossible not to rip someone off. Golden horse made a custom layout with an inversion, which is way more inventive than their corkscrews and slcs.
The Golden Horse Super spinning Coaster at 5:41 looks identical to the Intamin Spinning Coaster (one of which is Tornado at Bakken in Denmark), just with different style OTSRs. I'd say that's a knockoff.
Oh my goddd how gorgeous is the design of the Chinese version of the ride at 2:58? I'm in LOVE with the way that little ship looks, it's so pretty, and the lighting makes it even nicer to look at. Why don't we get rides that look that nice at the fair in my home town...
The reason a lot of these rides don’t make it to western soil is because they don’t meet the regulations. I know of a few UK showmen that have loosely enquired about rides from China but the manufacturers refuse to ship them over due to our rules and regulations. I believe the same goes with all the golden horse coasters too. Hope this helps! Also I want the unregulated manufacturers video
Recently found your channel via the coaster crash episodes and I absolutely love it! Although I will probably never ride a rollercoaster again because I’m way to much of a panic head and whenever the coaster is doing anything other than going straight I feel as if I can’t breathe, I find it so interesting to learn about these fascinating machines!
Roller Coasters are super safe really. Yeah accidents happen but look at how few of them there are. Especially with thousands of people per month riding them.
To be honest I would love it if a manufacturer like Maurer would make an inverting spinning coaster (I feel like those would sell better in America and outside of the U.S)
I’m super new to this channel. You are very well educated in this topic of amusement parks and rides. You should definitely be an engineer! This video makes it seem like the Chinese really really like to spin.
6:23 IIRC there’s a crazy coaster in Denmark called Tornado that was built by this company that also uses an odd lift hill/launch hybrid. My biggest gripe with this design compared to others is that it doesn’t seen to spin as well as others.
As someone who has gone to china many times and have ridden insane rides over there, i agree that alot are knockoffs. But there are a ton of great rides over there. Im planning to buy ivues and document all of these rides the next time i visit.
I rode on the human gyroscope at Belmont Park in San Diego during the early sixties. The version they had was only one seat but there were six of them. As a kid, it was one of my favorite rides.
I love the look of the UFO coaster, v 50s kitsch retro. And the spinning coaster by the safe company looks good. . . As for the unsafe companies, I just hope our UK health n safety laws will not allow them.
I’ve honestly never seen or heard of a rocking tug ride before. Would definitely want to try all of these but maybe soone with a good travel pillow as a neck brace.
A lot of these rides seem to be a take on similar designs with the addition of another axis. It sounds simple but watching them in action makes me dizzy enough lol
The UFO roller coaster is the perfect ride if in doors lights out and if used a glow in the dark black light alien planet/city theme with alien animatronics moving around the city as if they were just going to work or doing daily life stuff.
I gotta admit, getting to #1-The huss crazy legs+zamperla air race was/is actually a pretty cool combination. Comfort-wise, no idea. But I love them both normally so who knows.
At Adventureland in Altoona Iowa there's a spinning coaster called The Phoenix. No inversions. But its fun. You should check it out if you're ever down this way
The ride after the gyroscope ride reminds me of one of the roller coasters in “Blue Bayou and/or Dixie Landin’”(“blue bayou” is the part that My family and probably most of the people that live here in Louisiana that is the water park part and “Dixie Landin’ opens later than “Blue Bayou” opens up but it is the roller coaster and fair rides in the 2 parks.)
Just a question, would you as a rollercoaster enthusiast ride these Chinese rides and other coasters. I am an aviation geek I would love to fly things like an old Soviet airliner, but is it the same with rollercoaster enthusiasts or will you not ride them because of safety concerns or them being really uncomfortable?
can you make a video of the verrucht, the kansas waterslide that opened and closed in 2012? I think you could have a field day about how much of a safety hazard it was
4:18 bruh i was going to ride one of these in some shady, cheap fair, and dediced against it bc it looked rusty af and the sound wasn't pleasant. also bc my brother in law used to be waaay overweight back then and he was the one that wanted to ride it with me, i was paranoid it'd snap with both of us there.
The reason why Golden Horse doesn't sell more in the world is they were banned by IAAPA for copying many other manufacturers designs and selling them for cheaper. Such as B&M and Intamin track/car designs. They are known to go into parks to inspect other coasters to rip off their designs to "create" their own.
I love how the footage quality of the flying saucer coaster is just as bad as the footage of UFO sightings, really adds to the realism
lol, nice one 🤘
There's a TPR video with better quality but again it's a TPR video
Lol
M L I think that video got taken down as of now. (In the video he dubbed the ride a “rape machine” and there was backlash in the comments)

It’s always wholesome when different RUclipsrs talk to each other in a comment section. I have no clue why.
4 months and he still hasn't done that. Well at least he has done creepy ride trains lately. Maybe Warring Coaster and Bizarre Flat Rides are next.
@Theme Park Crazy Hi there!

*"T h E s U p e R S p i N n i n G c O a s T e R"*
Fits in nicely with the Three Ring Coasters made by a Chinese company
I think flat rides are underrated. Most parks seem to have the same few, when there are a bunch of other unique ones to choose from.
One thing that would be rather amusing is if Western manufacturers just made clones of those good Chinese ones
i will wait for the western clones made in china is straight up nope for me

Also that coaster is a knock-off and parks getting kicked out of the international amusement and park association, if they buy their coasters.
