Awesome video! I had the exact same experience looking through the imports and finding the Young And Crazy album (next to Venom, as I recall). Great, sleazy, punky hard rock that owed more to the New York Dolls and early Mötley Crüe than Poison and Def Leppard. Definitely a pleasant surprise to hear what heavy hitters they were. Great stuff!
Funny you had tbe same experience. The album cover kinda stood out compared to most imports. Great album more reminiscent of later LA bands then poison and warrant, closer to LA Guns. Love it. Thanks for watching.🤟
Man there's so many awesome riffs with songs that flow so well for their first 3 releases overall. I can't say Kim was a great vocalist but that fry whaling timbre he had matched the vibe and energy they put out compared to someone who might have a more mature controlled tone. Honestly I loved that they basically made the glammiest song and music video of all time, like pure diabetes even compared to Poison. But the rest of their songs were just really well made. And I gotta give them more credit for being Welsh and trying to make it. I think if Bezerk could have come out in 88, they would have been waaay bigger, giving them way more time to mixed into the soup of the scene going on but 90 was just on the tail end.
@CheapSushi I love those first 3 releases. Priductionon on the debut could've been better. But no budget, and the songs were so cool it didn't matter. Yeah doesn't get glacier or catcher then love bomb baby. Like auditory cotton candy. If the had just gotten that US deal things could've been different. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤟
Thanks for watching! First 2 cds are definitely worth checking out. 2 different singers one less polished and more sleazy, the other one highly produced and more mainstream both really good. Thanks for checking it out.🤟
@@bringbackrock1457 yes, but it also cost a shitload of money, Bezerk is my favourite album of all time, but i loved the raw edge of Young N Crazy, now if they had polished that as much as Bezerk, it would of been a corker
You know that the album was actually gonna be called Uncle Tom's Cabin, then he was asked to write a Love in the Elavator kind of song and he wrote Cherry Pie in lime 5 mins...and everything changed
