Did God Speak to Me in a Dream? I'd Love to Hear What You Think!

- I recorded this video first thing this morning in obedience to the Holy Spirit, but truthfully, I'm really nervous about sharing this dream with you. When I have dreams like this, it's always before a difficult time. I normally share them with friends and family, but I feel called to share it more broadly - so here we go.
I would love to see if you have any thoughts or interpretations of my dream - or if you have similar dreams or visions from God. I have recorded my interpretation of this dream but will share it later so I don't influence anyone.
I don't want to scare anyone, so if this video makes you nervous, I encourage you to pray deeply about what the Holy Spirit has to say to you. There is good news in this dream!!!! It may be a barren land, but life springs from it , and that's what I want you to hold on to.

Hi Tracie! I get excited when I hear someone says they had a dream because I love dream interpretation. Regardless of you knowing the man's name from what you're describing, dreaming of a man can represent the person literally if you know them, or the man can represent either God, Jesus, Holy Spirit or an angel. That said you were walking with the presence of God and you were discussing how the Gospel needed to be shared with more people. Then out of the ground which was barren representing a dead place (Isa 44:3) without the Spirit of God or thirsting for God trees sprung up. This represents believers with a strong foundation. (Ezekiel 2-10) Then you said you later on were with your sister and as you're talking to her a woman comes along and says that she's having the same dream/vision.
This was definitely a dream from God where He is telling you there is a need for you to share Gospel with more people. He is showing you that there is a need for God to be shared especially in dry areas. Not to say that you're not sharing the Gospel, but that there is a need for you to extend your reach. He's also showing you that you won't do this alone but with the help of others such as your sister and a trusted friend who will grab hold of the vision and help you to carry it out. (Habakkuk 2:2)
This was a beautiful dream! Of course this is the interpretation I received, but always pray and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for sharing. I love you and your ministry ❤. When I hear your dream, I think of...... sharing Gods words and His good news like you do. I see the 100's of leaves popping out onto the treas that popped out of the ground, as a sign of people becoming aware of God's good news. New growth, new believers, and current believers I think the color of fall leaves represent, falling to our knees in honoring and praying to our Heavenly Father. ❤ That was a beautiful dream you had. When I started reading here what Nicole shared, "The 100's of leaves," b4 read any farther, I saw New Believers springing up! Yes, new growth! Hearing your description of the tree it reminds me of a mesquite tree. That's practically the only "tree" that grows around us in south TX.

Yes, Tracie, dreams are while asleep, visions are when awake. There are different kinds of visions as well, some are "picture like' or "movies" others are "open visions" where you see what is happening and you are also reacting/responding to it. I've had all of these. They are very different from imagination or so called "pizza dreams". Your dream has several symbolic items which you mentally noted: barren, mountain (a high place), suddenly, trees, leaves, season(s), friend, family. You stated a mandate- to share the Gospel with more people. The colors of the leaves are Fall colors, as you said, and Fall is a transition, change- the trees sprung up, but they didn't stay strong and become green because it was not the season for that. The Autumn wilting imagery is telling. That the trees sprung up and quickly aged is unusual. Leaves change color when the temperatures drop- cold. Trees in Ezekiel 47 thrive along the River of God, and healing is in their leaves. But you were on a mountain, a high place=holy, temple, worship, also solid but yet there was no water or river there. The temps are cold on a mountain- the Family of God (not everyone) in general has become cold or at least lukewarm. The Body of Christ in America has become like the trees- once having a solid foundation, worshiping our King,and growing, now we have lost our way and need the River of God again. We need the TRUTH again- not man's interpretation or watered down version that is "comfortable" to our flesh. The trees spouted as you walked by/through the place: when you share the Gospel, life is sown in seeds. Some grow and thrive, others sprout and die. (Parable of the Sower). You need to pray into this and ask Him what the trees are saying in regard to your mandate. I will pray for your discernment that you receive accurate interpretation of this communication from God to you.

I haven't had a dream like that, but I believe what you are saying and how you feel about it. I have had dreams and/or visions (asleep and awake) that I believe were msgs or awarenesses from God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. 🙏🙋♀️

I believe God talks to me through my dreams, he has with my grandpa and mom too.
As soon as you mentioned the trees, I was immediately reminded of Matthew 24 and the fig tree.
Maybe God was showing you the harvest is ready and Jesus is at the door!🙌

Thank you Brandy! I did record an immediate interpretation and will release it on Wednesday after I've given folks time to interpret my dream as well. I don't want to sway anyone's thoughts. I still have more prayer to God for clarity, but I'm spending time in His word and trying to hear more specifics. I will update after Wednesday once I have at least one next step to share. I appreciate your encouragement and the Bible verses you shared. I will add them to my study list as I work through this.

The leave color sounds like it's in the fall. I had a dream before and Jesus came to me and showed me I was going to be getting my childhood home back. He showed me everything about what will happen 6 months later everything was happening in real life.I told my mom about it and she told me that god came to my uncle and said (I showed her she was getting the home back.) I asked my mom why didn't she tell me about this she said she wanted to see if it came true and it really did. I always wanted to no why people say that god talks to them and well I no now for sure.

I think that God wants you to keep stepping out in Faith. The friend could be coming along side you as you take the next step. Where is God calling you to go and could this be something that you are not sure about. I believe that God is always talking and using ways to Confirm the calling he is giving you. I am going to pray that God gives you clarity to understand this dream. Could this be something you wanted and know you are being called. I know this has to do with your calling. I don’t know why but right from the start this is what I felt
Thank you Lorri! Yes, I agree it's clear that God wants me to keep stepping out in faith (I failed to mention that 2 days ago I prayed for God to light a fire under me if He wants me to move - this is probably that fire). I am so thankful for your prayer about clarity. I really could use some!
