My almost boss is a Capricorn and it was a nightmare. Caps are misunderstood. If you meet a "selfish" Cap it's not your basic selfishness. It's because we want security. In my experiences with Capricorns whether it was (family,friends, or lovers) I've noticed some similarities with all. A LOT of what you've mentioned here I have seen with them. I had to laugh when you talked about the "Phony" part. Because I just experienced that with a Cap. Usually my ex is all pessimistic and can't find anything nice to say about people or situations. I've been with my Capricorn male for a while and I do find him to be sometime fake, fickle, and cold. Also I've complained about him not getting over his past love. He can also be pessimistic and critical which can take a toll on their partners self esteem without them even realizing it. He can be a workaholic, which I'm learning to respect because that's how we'll get our stuff in order. He does need his space sometimes and feels superior. In my experiences with Capricorns whether it was (family,friends, or lovers) I've noticed some similarities with all. A LOT of what you've mentioned here I have seen with them. I had to laugh when you talked about the "Phony" part. Because I just experienced that with a Cap.
Usually my ex is all pessimistic and can't find anything nice to say about people or situations. This was one of the things I didn't like. How he would judge and put people down so much. He can definitely put a damper on thing if you don't stop him. We were hanging out one day and he met my brother for the 1st time. He had the nerve to have his shoes off and feet up on my ottoman when my bro walked in.
Said hello with a "fake smile" all while his feet where still up like he paid bills in the place. Who acts like that when you 1st meet someone's family? He was just talking shit just a few seconds ago. ha Smh Then he tried to engage me with small talk like we got along so well. I even ignored him because I knew what he was doing. *Note:* Usually this would piss him off! But he held his composure to look good. He still kept talking (with no responses, ha) to make it seem like we were BFF'S! This is the kicker though. Caps know how to draw you in with their "Representative". Then it's astonishing when you start to see the real them. I dated this one for 8 long years of up's and downs. Broke up for 7 and he came back once again looking for me. And it was like meeting an entirely new person. It was so weird to see. Some things I like but those (negative things) the way he's insensitive at times and mean. No can do! Just too much for my sensitive ass! ha With that said, I've seen worst behaviors with other signs. However, if your NOT careful a Cap can take you on that depressive ride with them. This is my bf.. judgmental and critical.. very very negative.. and at times I feel he puts his family before me and our daughter.. he will make sure he calls to check on his mom and siblings ask how they are.. quick to give them money without question but he doesn’t do that for me.. and it nothing wrong with that but do it for me some time.. after I had our baby is was depressed and like this for a while and he was just judgmental.. but he gives money and we do things together from time to time if it’s in the budget even though he makes good money but if it’s not he will complain about it.. yes he is difficult behind closed doors he is draining but in public he acts like he is so perfect and does nothing wrong.. he is always at the mall or online shopping for himself but the moment I want to get something for me or the baby he says yall already have a lot of things or I’m always shopping when I don’t.. I have to lie sometimes to just get money.. and he is violent he has stopped the car erratically on the side of the road many times and even broke his car radio by punching it.. and he has told me he likes me better when I don’t work but has a problem giving me money or talk down when I want something.. and when I do have my own money or say I’ll pay for my own things he does get upset..

I just started to date a capri and he was soooo sweet for a few days and then he went into this all women spill and started to punish me for all the women who hurt him even his mother. going so far as to tell me what a women should not do while doing all those things to me with out ever saying I'm sorry .He went so far as to make me out to be someone not to introduce to his ghetto friends.I paid for the movie tickets to the movies on the second date, just to show him I can be open to both people giving since he was so badly treated by woman. and he picked the movie he wanted to see, and cared less what I wanted. I knew he wasn't a guy I could stay with for long so boy bye he went , now he's calling me telling me how good he was and I missed a good thing. I could see the good in him , but it seem's he couldn't see it in himself. One of them can't decide whether to respond to me or not when I say hi to him now because I am no longer at his level anymore at work. Mad that I got a new position that he did not even apply for. You can't win the lotto, if you don't play, like the saying goes and that's him. Not that he would have gotten the position if he were to apply anyway because he did not meet any of the requirements and qualifications other than the least that they needed you to have is a bachelor's degree.
