Do you have any connections or prehaps a way to contact him? Cause if so then I would prob believe him, also some cheaters does deserve respect as sometimes they just do it for fun, content for us to enjoy or to help against other cheaters, I mean if you watch kardin hong or captainjackattack they do cheat yes but they do it to entertain and create content and for me personally I do find it entertaining.

Honestly, I don't know of a single speed runner for minecraft that doesn't either use mods or code exploits. Speed runs in general seem to lose their authenticity unless done very early in a game's life, once it has been around for a while it is pretty likely that a speed run will use at least one illegal exploit/hack, some people are just better than others at hiding it...

1. His odds are impossible 2. He admitted to it 3. Every point you ever had is invalidated by your grammatical prowess being that of a 1st grader. Learn grammar and learn basic statistics, then you might have a point, until that happens go back to school and learn your ABCs.
Dream didn’t intentionally cheat but the run was invalid because it was affected by his manhunt code (devs made stuff so that more of his manhunt recordings would see the face of RUclips and not a recycling bin, one of the changes that was made was increasing certain items rates and Dream didn’t know that). The run was invalid but Dream didn’t intentionally cheat.

It wasn't even close to a world record run, the amount of hate is stupid. I happen to be giving him the benefit of the doubt because intentionally cheating would make no sense, plus he seems to actually care about the speed running community and the sport. Plus already had 2 world records before.

@@BestOfClips496 he cheated using a mod to make his drop rates higher for certain items, the speedruns in question were his 2nd place leaderboard run and the ones leading up to it. Why he cheated? Maybe for several reasons, maybe he felt sad that all good runs were dying due to bad RNG, or maybe he just wanted a better time. Sorry for thinking you were here to argue, I thought your comment was sarcastic and you were one of the people who defends dream and all he does, when in reality you just wanted answers. (this assumption is rooted in the fact that there is way more stans than people who want answers)

@@hotdogbananaman we don't know if it was intentional, which you seem to be saying he was intentionally cheating. All we know for sure is the run is invalid. Since he already has 2 world record runs before, and seemed to care about the sport and it's validity, I think it was accidental, using something that mods manhunt drops/luck so it's more interesting.
There just doesn't seem to actually be a motive for cheating on purpose, to not even break a world record. Plus it's high risk.

his cares for validity: if he is willing to increase the drop rates for manhunts, lying to all his fans, then he is willing to do the same for speedrunning
