Just an FYI, the OZ measurements for the slime are right on the bottle. You definitely didnt use enough. :) There is also anti-puncture tape you can line the wheels with (a little extra work) that will nearly prevent all punctures
I've never had that slime work in 6 years lol I've tried putting in double the amount and I still get punctures, I'm now using oko sealant I've not had a puncture at all in just over 1 year😀
I use slime in all of my tires, and have repaired multiple tires with slime and all of those still hold all their air with use, and each tire I use with slime in it that has been punctured still work and hold their air and I have not had to replace any inner tubes. Slime will not work to fix bead leaks and sidewall leaks and people get upset about that.
I have the Solar P1 2.0, and on the Solar RUclips channel, they suggest you use 118ml, that's half the bottle, so that is what I put in my 10 inch tyres. I've seen several videos on putting slime in scooter tyres and they all use half to 2/3 of a bottle per tyre. I went with half the bottle per tyre, only because that's how much Solar suggest. Saying that I've never go riding without a foot pump and another full bottle of Slime in my backpack. 2 ounces is not enough,
Hey Ginger on wheels, I love your vids you’re definitely a favourite but This time I doubt you actually slimed that tyre at all. I may be wrong but I didn’t see you rotate the wheel to evenly spread the slime as the instructions say you must. Not only that but you only added 1oz of slime. 2oz is actually 1/4 of the 8oz bottle.
I put the tire on and went for a ride after this, I figure that spreads it out. I might have been a little light on the application though, you're right I probably didn't use enough.
I fixed my rear tire leaking air on my hiboy titan anfter a week of having it. Ordered a solid tire for whenever it finally takes a crap on me. Can you do a rear wheel motor and tire removal video?
I just bought an Apollo Ghost. Will be receiving it Saturday. I bought the armor-dilloz bc of its reviews. But my question is should I use the armor-dilloz right away? Before I even ride it?
How are you supposed to put air in the tire? After you finished putting the sealant in the tire you said to put the valve back on. Can you clarify that part. Are we just suppose to clean the excess selant that is coming out of the valve then pump air into the tires?
Tubeless tires are a b!tch on scooters, they tend to leak between the wheel and tire even without any punctures. I took my wheel/tire off, put the green slime in, and shook it up for a while, spun it this way and that way. I was able to reduce the tiny bubbles (dunk in sink water) almost entirely, but there are still a couple spots. 😤
The slime in my Gotrax scooter doesn't seem to do a perfect job. I pump up the tire and after rolling for a few miles it deflates a bit. I've done this 2 - 3 times and there's some black goo coming out of the rims. Can I try to replace with Slime - the brand... will it be superior? Should I just get a new tube? lol
@@BIGDeZeL6 To be more exact that little tool is actually inside that cap. If your tool is messed up the tool should be found at bicycle shops and should be the same tool found at tire sales shops. The plastic tool is the same dimensions as the better metal tools.
You can remove the 2 bolts on the side of the wheel and remove the tire completely. Then deflate it and pry it off with a flathead screwdriver. I've never had issues with slime, no.
You can feel the tube that you're squeezing getting smaller and smaller, and when you unscrew it from the tire and let it set again you'll see there is less inside the tube.
You forgot to remove the bottle seal under the bottle cap ... what I did was measure the weight of the bottle with a kitchen scale (19.7 oz) and then squeeze stuff in until 6oz in tire (and bottle 13.7oz on scale).
so next time u wont be able to take the valve off after you screwed the valve back in i see lots of slime still on the valve coming out lol....once it dries up will stick the valve very tight ...
You would just need to use the Blue Label Slime instead, which is made for tubeless (or the Black Label Slime which works for both tubed and tubeless if you're not sure). Otherwise I think the application process is the same!
should be called ginger on legs and feet.. disappointed i thought you was cybernetik robot from future with like tracks or something and could scale 90 degree walls
Slime sealant is not absolutely prevent your tire from flat i tried this product when my front tire got a pin hole, the air inside puff out this green slime and i realized that the product is not worth it its a waste of money
Definitely doesn't prevent any holes on the sidewalls of the scooter as the slime tends to pool in the middle once the tire is spinning. But it's better than nothing!
Nothing is absolute but I've had a tire go flat, used slime and it kept flat tire full for months then when air would creep out I'd use it again. Definitely useful.
Just an FYI, the OZ measurements for the slime are right on the bottle. You definitely didnt use enough. :) There is also anti-puncture tape you can line the wheels with (a little extra work) that will nearly prevent all punctures
I've used anti puncture tape and you can stab a thorn through it easily
just buy OkO sealant 😎

i got very similar model called tomini h10. thanks for the video! didnt know what they meant by taking inner part off
I’m using this thing already for u years!!! Very helpful

Question ? How long does your scooter battery last
I just bought an Apollo Ghost. Will be receiving it Saturday. I bought the armor-dilloz bc of its reviews. But my question is should I use the armor-dilloz right away? Before I even ride it?
That's what I would do.
Are those tubless tires?
How are you supposed to put air in the tire? After you finished putting the sealant in the tire you said to put the valve back on. Can you clarify that part. Are we just suppose to clean the excess selant that is coming out of the valve then pump air into the tires?
Yes. You put the valve core back in, wipe away the excess sealant, and then re-inflate the tire to the suggested manufacturer PSI.
@@GingerOnWheels thank you

I've never had a tubeless tire that leaked like that before. Are the bubbles coming out from the side of the tire where its seated on the rim?
I believe you were supposed to turn the wheel manually before inflating. I believe
Are you a member of the Nanrobot scooter club on Facebook? If not you should join. 😄👍
Hey man, good video👍. I have a Solar P1 2.0 looks similar to yours, where did you get that grip tape from? Thanks
use OkO sealant
slime don't work
Is this a tubless tyre?
Pressure should start at 28 psi and the increase by 2 for weight or extrem use
But 45!
45 one the back prevents punctures, try to go over glass bottle with 28 and 45psi
Can slime be used in tubeless tyres... happy new year Mr g wheels
Yes. They make slime especially for tubeless tires. Just make sure to read the label and get the right tube.

can you put air in tire with valve core?
Yeah the core only needs to come out when you put the sealant in.
Where can i find that little tool to help unscrew and screw in the tire stem?
Its on the slime cap

So let me get this straight cus iv been confused for awhile. Use the red label slime for my tubeless tyre?
I grabbed a 2-in-1 which is good for both tube and tubeless tires.
How would I open this and change tyre ? Do u have a video also how was the slime any issues ?
You can remove the 2 bolts on the side of the wheel and remove the tire completely. Then deflate it and pry it off with a flathead screwdriver.
I've never had issues with slime, no.
Is your tyre tubeless
How are you ?
Does the slime work ? Did you have any issues ?
No issues for me. Seems to work.
slime name and can I buy it on Amazon
How long since you had to change it?
I haven't
@@GingerOnWheels wow, it's been 3 years now then
@@kurukiddo This Nanrobot broke down entirely in a couple of months and I returned it. 😅
Have not bought scooter yet. Hear about flats. Would it just make sense to use this with new scooter? Avoid the headaches?
I've done it with every scooter I've bought. I've also never had a flat tire. Not sure if I'm just lucky or what, but take that for what it is.
So when I get my pro it’s best to use this slime to be safe from punctures?
That's what I would do.
Ginger On Wheels thanks
Can you use it for inner tube tires too ?
it is designed for use on inner tubes and tubeless, just get the right product as Slime sells different versions for tube and tubeless tires.
doesn't work buy OkO sealant 😎
Should I use the slime as soon I unbox my scooter?
Yes. I'd recommend it.
I’m trying to figure out if the slime is going into the tube because I don’t see it moving. How Do I know the slime is entering the tube ?
You can feel the tube that you're squeezing getting smaller and smaller, and when you unscrew it from the tire and let it set again you'll see there is less inside the tube.

That wasn’t enough 2 ounces is like on eighth of the bottle
I thought this is used after a puncture, this slime acts as a kind of plaster temporary, of course
idk what the diference is between inner tube slime or pneumatic tyre slime
if anyone does, please do tell
That plastic cap breaks 4 out of five times for me.
How u go about if it's tubeless
You would just need to use the Blue Label Slime instead, which is made for tubeless (or the Black Label Slime which works for both tubed and tubeless if you're not sure). Otherwise I think the application process is the same!
God tip 👍

He's using slime for inner tubes where as his scooter is tubeless
D4+ 2.0 had tubed tires.

I used the slime but after about an hour my tyre goes flat
Probably a sidewall hole or one too big to patch! Need a new tire I'm afraid
Now when I pump it up I left it for 10+ hours and it was fine but as soon as I stud on it it went flat
@@sufyanliaqat736
I had a similar issue, I added more slim
Tom hempswell said your baby scooter is rubbish 🤔
Better to get solid rubber tires off Amazon or Walmart
lol, if your only going 5mph
Flat out is way better
Lol you may as well not have used any. What the hell was that? 😂
What was that? That was the amount recommended by the manufacturer on the label. 🤷♂️
Sorry pal that shit doesn't work at all.
Except for that it does.
