    Love this really good analysis. ARK never talks about Tesla Energy that is growing at 100% and will eventually be $1T or more. While FSD is a huge upside the timing is unpredictable, energy is inevitable and is beginning to ramp. Why don’t you talk about it?

    This is frustrating. There is NO way you could expect to turn FSD loose in a city and expect not to have constant problems.

    And yet again they miss on talking about Tesla Energy and how it’s silently becoming a behemoth of a business for the company.

      Tesla Energy is 2.8% of profits.

    • @beefkelaguen
      @beefkelaguen 10 месяцев назад

      @@obijuan3004 Tesla energy has grown 125% yoy and will ramp up production with more factories.
      Compounding to the future, energy will surpass 50% profits real quick. Treat Tesla energy as a startup company. It’s not about the profits now, it’s the profits later.

    You made a brief comment about how long Optimus would last, suggesting 3-4 years. It’s a great question that I haven’t heard many ask. What kind of a lifespan is Elon modeling for Optimus? Similar to a car? With repairs…10-15 years? I would hope. Maybe as it ages you can reel it in to easier domestic tasks (ie start with heavy outdoor work/landscaping around house/DIY ETC and then finish its life inside folding clothes as a “house bot” where it’s less stress etc

    Do you think there might be a hybrid robobtaxi? Car is level 4 with no one in it. Once it gets to a customer, it’s now a rental car or level3/supervised ride.
    Would that lower regulatory threshold and liability for Tesla for a kind of transition phase? Allows the masses to get used to it.
    I could even see straight rental car companies leveraging this. Imagine how much more efficient they can be. Order your rental car and it just shows up outside your door. Curbside at the airport. One way rentals would be possible. Drive rental to front gate of football game, then rent another one that meets you when you leave. We used to have to walk 30 minutes from parking lot for Bears games.

    Robotaxi will be a 2 seater for sure. If the data shows most drives are less than 2 people and the best part is no part it's a no brainer to remove back seats. People wanting a 3-5 seat robotaxi will hail a model 3/y.

    FSD SALE STRATEGY: lets guarantees a 15 years of FSD ownership in one or more Tesla cars. So owners won’t hesitate to change Tesla cars with FSD. It encourages people to buy FSD too, which is cheaper than monthly subscription. Please help to let Elon know. Thanks!

  • @carsonc1272
    @carsonc1272 10 месяцев назад +2

    FSD isn't capable of being a robotaxi service right now. It can't get from one ride to another without human assistance. I think it would be more accurate to say that Tesla has entered the march of nine's phase. It's 99% done but the little edge cases are going make it take longer to finish than it seems.

      @@tambourinedmb In the beginning it was difficult to say with confidence that FSD would ever be fully functional. But after seeing the technology make so much progress through the years it has passed the point where it's a question of if it will ever work, and instead is a question of when. People seem to forget that this is one of the largest challenges humanity has ever tried to tackle and it's already very functional. But it will take time.

      I see my Tesla as an appreciating asset earning $50k yr. plugged in to the Robot Taxi fleet . What's that worth? Same with Optimus. Commercial applications will employ all production. This will reduce consumer prices to near give away enabling era of abundance, asset sharing, limitless options for goods and services virtually toil free option or work if you like. Why not?

      @Jimmy-01890 10 месяцев назад +1

      Tesla bulls always think FSD is worth more than the current price, but I rather drive the car myself for daily commute. The firm should consider subscription model with more tiers of pricing. That’s what Netflix did when the old model no longer creates growth.

    TESLA will be under pressure for the next 6+ (150ish) months unless there is FSD breakthrough ... wall street is in the show me the money now mode ... long term looks hopeful-promising ....? short term is all based on FSD development ...... further delays will toast the stock ... the energy and T2 will help in the middle long term ...

    22:28 lol, this is funny. $20k for a humanoid robot that can do "everything"? WAY too cheap. And it'll last longer than 5 years...should last many decades, even if the battery pack had to be replaced at some point.

    Nick is totally not up tot speed for this convo. Optimus will not be sold, it will be leased. It will not be sold for residence use for many years, the primary purpose is for business labor replacement. Also, pretty clueless on next gen car. Does he work for Cathie Wood? If so, not paying close attention. If watching Ark, expecting deep material, not a primer for video participant. Thanks.

    Here is some reality. A remote taxi needs to be an SUV, or minivan not a car. Tesla’s FSD is now behind Mercedes self driving, because Tesla’s it is so complex. A humanoid robot might be good for home chores, but it doesn’t have enough battery space to last more than a couple of hours. For use in most factory work a humanoid robot its ridiculously stupid. A robot with a strong base, and wheels can move faster, have multiple very long arms and cameras and can carry more weight and more power and computing power to operate remotely. A humanoid robot has to waste power just trying to balance. We have spent generations making machines to replace the weak human body, why make a weak electric human except to do human chores?
    Finally, the reason the robot hands looked real is because the hands were being controlled remotely, it was not the robot on its own, that was obvious.

    Please get serious. FSD is NOT near allowing people to go places and not intervene, including not watching the road. This is NOT that close to being without a driver. Come on.
