Too pricy this time. Especially English books. There were only the usual books, new releases were rare. Though there were some, they were over Rs.3000. didn't buy. I love books, and I'm a heavy reader but it's not practical to spend 3000 or so for a book.

Yes true. But when it comes to the cost of papers & pulps, inks and etc, the publishers also have no option than increasing the price. As readers we are helpless. Here in SL, people make both ends meet these days. So the prices of some books are not affordable 😢 What to do?
