I agree with you, Andy! It is not very overproduced, so it becomes more cosy and warming. Sometimes, overproduced ballads makes us step back and feel small with such huge talent (an aspect that keeps distance between listener and singer ) but, this one keep us quite tight together with the singer. 😊
It will be good to see her sing it on her own, watch and see her deliver the song, it could be amazing. I don't think it needs the message to be spelt out on stage the song, the melody, the singing does it for you

It reminds me of Naj Bogovi Slišio by Vili Reznik - a Slovenia Eurosong entry from the 90s...don’t exactly remember what year...I guess y’all can look it up. I remember that song fondly because I voted for it on [maybe the first] televising. Also, back to the 2019 Macedonian song...the video needs a bit more racial diversity since it’s a human-rights-kind-of-song. And, everyone’s makeup in the vid is the same, prolly by the same person. Needs women with no makeup too..

Hell no they were there for thousands of years,and go to Lerin(florina) and i guarantee u that 80% of the people who live there speak fluently macedonian,how come?? How can a minority in greece speak a whole different language and don't exist tell me?? I have a lot of friends eho have roots from there but were exailed,and the villages I've been to in the areas in Lerin Kostur Voden(edessa) are 100% macedonian and speak the macedonian language i speak this as a fact because i travel alot there and im asking around,if u don't believe me go travel there n see dor urself then talk to me,so even after all of this why doesn't gree e recognize the macedonian minority there??
