I forgot to steer at the end and nearly ended up on the pavement, I'm so glad someone wasn't on the pavement otherwise they may have got the absolute fright of their life.
in the test when you are mid way on the 2nd point can u stop the car move the steering wheel then reverse even if you are stopped? Like is it a major or minor? (in reference to dry steering)
I've got my first ever driving lesson in just a couple of days, do you have a couple if tips about do's and don'ts or just general tips? I'm sure they'll fill me in on everything but just for some preparation.
Just be honest about your experience level with your instructor so they know where to start with you. Just take your time and try to have fun and you'll start to pick it up in no time! Just stay on the side of being safe rather than showing off and you'll be fine :) Have fun!
One thing you should 'never' do is tuen the steering wheel while the car is stationary. This not only damages your tyres but also the steering mechanism. Another thing to remember is that if you are drving backwards you should be looking 'backwards' not forwards..!
It's not like you're shaving half of ykur thread but yeah better do it while the car is moving but if you can't in the beginning it's no biggie, you'll get there.
