Thanks man got this gun for my birthday but the guy who had it never cleaned it, my dad wanted to just sell it again instead of actually taking it apart, cleaning it, and lubing it. But I wouldn’t give him the chance lol I love this gun. Thanks again much love.
How often should I clean it? Got my mini gs and only took it out on the field once, yeah I broke a couple paint in the barrel but I swabbed that out but when should I take it apart like this and clean the bolt area ?
The gun sav lube didn’t work too well with my marker, use what you want to use. I recommend using some planet eclipse lube because it’s really similar the the stock lube that comes with the marker. It’s around $10 for a tin of it.
Hold the trigger down, turn it on. It’ll go into programming mode. On the first color, hold the trigger down until the light turns off, pull and release the trigger 4 times. Wait 5 seconds. Now turn the gun off and back on and you should be in full auto.
Not usually on a basic living and cleaning. You can see the eyes form the breach and used your barrel swab to clean then without removing them. If you remove them often you run the risk of damaging them. We do recommend to do a deep cleaning twice a year where you take it completely apart.
I was pretty weary about getting the mini GS as my first electronic marker, because I’ve never done any cleaning on one and it’s intimidating tbh when I have zero knowledge of the bolt system at all (I’ve only owned a tippman cronus) so I was gunna get an axe 2.0 but they’re so damn expensive including getting a brand new hopper for it and a new air tank (because my current tank is out of date) I mean, I would be dropping like upwards of 700$ on the axe 2.0, but after watching this video I honestly might just buy the mini as my first entry tournament grade marker. I still have no idea what the eyes are and how to clean them, and I would greatly appreciate if you could make a video on that. Thanks a lot for this tutorial.
You will be extremely happy with the Mini GS. The eyes are electronic sensors inside of the gun that tell it when their is a paintball inside. You don’t have to clean them often when everything is working great!
@@JoseGarcia-vc9jy in the mini gs there is a switch on the bottom of the regulator in order to take out the air you would need to switch the flap the other way.
BTW for anyone watching this, the eyes are not those little white bumps that you see from the feedneck. Those are the detents. Still clean them but to properly clean the eyes you have to pull the board from the upper frame and clean them that way. This is a very misleading video
Yes those little white bumps are actually your ball detents that hold the ball in position until it is fired. You will want to clean those detents from time to time, especially if you have any balls break in your gun. The eyes are the light emitting diodes that are attached to the upper board that is housed between the main body and that tray about the grip frame.

This helped me very much thank you

We’re sorry to hear that the Gun Sav didn’t work with your Empire marker, but the Planet Eclipse grease will work just fine as well!
Thanks, this helped me a lot because I just bought the mini gs
Glad I could help
If I were to clean the GRIPS of the gun, would just a dry rag work?
An old tooth brush works great under warm water.
Hey man. I’m trying to set my mini gs empire to fully automatic

Do you guy not unscrew and clean out the eye sensors?

During the first step: If it’s very very stuck, and won’t come out with the pressure of my finger, what could I use to push it out?

I need to clean my gun but it has air in it, how can I remove the air?
Is the air tank still on the gun?

Does it come pre-lubed? I just got mine today. Should I do this now or after a few games?
Never mind I commented too soon before watching the video LOL but how often would you recommend you should take it apart and relube it?
@@josephtiessen We would recommend after 2 cases of paintballs or 4000 shots to do a basic cleaning and relubing!
