I have a meeting with my manager to discuss my returning to work after being off for over a year due to COVID-19. I have been offered a position as a receptionist which is a huge change from my previous position tending bar. Haven’t even finished the video yet, but wanted to say Mary that I’m psyched to see this video. I went to Dollar Tree for the first time earlier today. There were two employees outside. One was smoking, the other yelling on her cell phone. I went inside and didn’t see any other employees, but there were people waiting in line and shopping in the aisles. It was an eerie scene but kind of cool. Eventually the guy smoking went back to the register. For $3, I got 3 foldable decorative storage baskets, so I’m happy.

do employees ever approach you to thank you for organizing the shelves? when i worked at a department store facing shelves was probably the only thing i really enjoyed doing but it’s still overwhelming, i would have loved having a little shelf fairy like you stop by every so often 🥺

Hearing you calling them flavors makes me laugh because when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter I actually wanted to lick soap. I would get so tempted and sometimes licked a Caress bar or something. My doctor just told me to stop. LOL

I think Irish Spring is the soap I grated to spread around my plants to keep the deer away! It smells great when you walk outside!
My grandmother used to tie bars of it to stakes posted around her garden and said it worked to keep the deer out.
