This video is very helpful, I was having problem with coolant entering my fuse box without knowing where it was coming from till I watched this video. Thanks
Awsome vid , you really explained a lot . the misses and i recently got e46 with 330i , been chasing EML light . Repair shop says its DME with thanks too your vid I can atleast check out the connections to the DME , keep up the great work. thanks again!
Thanks for the great video.I got the same bmw model as in youre video and i have one problem with starting up the engine. When i turn key to start the engine on second position all panel lights start to blink. I wonder it can be the battery, but later i remove the old battery and install a new one, but same blinks every time i want tostart the engine. Later i discover some sound in the fuse box under the hood it was the blue relay which was giving out this sound while i've tryed to start the engine. I pull out the blue relay inspect, but looks that it not have burning spots on it or something else. I'm bit confused now, maybe some help from you. Thanks a lot.
So I replaced my water pump and radioator and battery all at once and now my 05 325ci is stuck in limp mode could it possible be a ecu fuse issue .. plz help 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Cycle the key off and on with out starting. Make sure all the sensors are plugged in. I do provide one one ine help for all high octane members if needed.
Thank you - very helpful. Question: My blower is on - only way to stop is remove fuse - so suspected a faulty relay but having watched your video you did not mention a relay for the fan blower - E46 2000 BMW 328i - What next to check - Thank you again
Thanks for watching and posting a comment. I definitely try to give some good tips in my videos :) I have run into too many strange problems over the years.
you are the sharpest guy i have found yet. I have a 2001 325i that will not crank when it get below 32 or so. Warms back up outside and it cranks and runs fine. I am suspect that there is water somewhere in the ebox. Do you have any ideas? I can hear that the fuel pump is not engaging when this problem occurs. There is a cold front moving and i would really like to solve this problem.
Awesome video mate.... I was looking for the fuse for head light.... it’s not in the glove compartment ,, do you know where it is? I have change the bulb but still not working... pls help
The black 5 fuse cartridge box on a my 99 bmw E39 528i the 30amp has no power on either end when I tested it however I forgot to check for continuity my auxiliary fan don’t kick in but only with AC. Do know what’s the 30A for and does it get power from a rely?
Hello Rob, Can you go to my website www.askthecarexperts.com and use the contact me tab to send my your information. Include the last seven of your VIN number please and I will do my best to help you.
what's that green relay? Not for A/C? my A/C blower motor stop work, I checked all the fuses in glove box and replaced FSU as well, but still not work. and I take off Blower motor to check if the motor does not work, but the motor works good, and I use voltage meter to check blower connector, this is no voltage in connector, so next step I wanna find if the relay is bad or take off the HVAC control unit to check maybe some wire is disconnected or the HVAC control unit is bad.
I watched this video and I took off my ecm to check for oil or any water damage and my car went to eml mode and now it revs on its on unable to drive it any help please ??
Hello Josue, What happened is that your throttle lost calibration. Do the following...without starting put the key in the ignition and cycle the key on to the second position. All cluster lights come on. Wait 5 seconds and shut if off. Repeat again. This will calibrate your throttle. Then start normally. If the problem still occurs check your connections again at your DME and retry. Please remember to subscribe, Thanks! Let me know how you make out.
great video , I'm having starting issues . I replaced the alternator, battery , coil packs , spark plugs . I went to turn it on , radio and dash board lights went haywire . Please help ?
Hi and Thank you very much for taking the time to share this. I'm experiencing some issues with my throttle and after watching your video I decided to check the fuses. After removing the box holding the 5 fuses I found that the first 30A is not connected to anything (which i figure may be a redundant slot used in another model). However the 20A fuse in the middle is a mystery to me as it only has contact on one of its blades. Unfortunately I don't have access to the wiring schematic for my car so cant check if thats normal. (sorry for the long intro) my question is could you confirm if that's normal?? the car is a 2000 e46 sedan with the M43 engine.
Hey, I just watched your video--which is very informative. I just learned something new. I have a problem, I purchased my 2003 BMW 325I (manual) 2yrs ago and it drove ok. But I have realized they hardly kept up with maintenance. But my problem is, my BMW does not drive like a BMW. It does not accelerate with power when I step on the gas; it feels like it struggles to move, like it drags. Basically, it does not move with power like BMW's are supposed to. What you guys know what is wrong with my BMW?
This is the most I've heard the word RELAY repeated. Lol... Thanks for the video....
