- I love going into Half Price Books because you never know what you are going to find. The past few trips that I have taken have been pretty great and this trip is no exception. I found so many boutique titles (Vinegar Syndrome, Kino Lorber, Disney Movie Club & Vestron Video to be precise) for some great prices to boot.

I just recently watched it for the first time and now I will be a big champion for the movie. How does this movie not have a blu-ray yet?
@@steelbookobsessed definitely needs a Blu-ray or a 4K either one I would be fine with. I’ve been watching it on DVD and VHS for years.

Went to a Half Price Books on Sunday, I only scored a couple of discs (Disney's Dinosaur and the Shout release of The Wizard, not exactly groundbreaking). 5:21/10:39 - F/X love, love, love that movie, the sequel is equally good. 9:00 - I watched Strange Days probably about 6-9 months ago on MAX as it should be in my wheelhouse, no questions asked. But unfortunately, I didn't like it as much as I was hoping. Great haul.
I have that DEAD ALIVE DVD! Dang I didn’t know it was going for that. Not selling. lol

I wish I had a Half Price Books near me. The only store I have near me where I can but used movies is Goodwill.
I don’t have a Half Price Books near me but dang their prices seem kinda of steep for used items.
They can be that’s for sure but for harder to find movies like that VS Showgirls I’m totally OK with paying those prices.

I didn’t know half price was doing a sale on Memorial Day either to bad they don’t advertise that stuff better

Yea there are a lot of thrift stores and half price books up here in the twin cities but it’s mainly dvds. Better then nothing tho
