Adrenaline rush was coming out of every car in 97 on the west side.
Facts i remember summer 97 and u couldn't go nowhere without hearing that album. All down Madison
It wasn’t just Out West. I’m from The Hunnids and we bumped Twista Out South. Out West had it juking on the rap shit from Da Brat, PsychoDrama, Do Or Die and Twista. I remember buying them underground tapes from 87th and bumping them.
@@willsalter8113when i visit home in the hunnits mf still bang twista😂 he a real hometown hero
My car on the east also!! That album was my shit!! Adrenaline rush, overdose... so many bangers!!
Over East too.
Bone didn't start it. They first album was called Faces of Death. It was before they signed w Ruthless and it came out in 92. Twista was already in the guiness world book for the fastest rapper in 92
Facts fam. I been sayn that since the 90s
Really in 91 faces of death
Bone was into it more with three 6 than Twista.
@@eatassonthefirstdatethats why they had that beef. Face of death sound like they read a 3 6 blueprint
Nobody was rapping fast and singing like bone
That po pimp verse is legendary. Like a top 20 all time verse. Straight player shit to the core💯💯
Twista is most definitely in my top 5. A lot of dudes try to claim that flow but with due respect nobody did it to his level. I still remember the first time po pimp dropped I was like wtf is that! I think I was the first one in my hood with Adrenaline Rush.
Lmao! I had the same reaction to Po Pimp
Ive found that album in second hand shop last year, love it
Appreciate the twista love. To me he's in my top 5. Adrenaline Rush is a top 5 album no skips. He represents the west side of the chi like me
The greatest and coldest rapper ever hands down. Twista for life.
I’m from the NOLA(New Orleans, LouisianA) and bruh, we rock wit Twista. Great quiet humble dude too and obviously unique.
Fun fact: Twista was on a episode on the TV show Head of the class
Thank you know I'm gonna look that up and check out my goat.
Great documentary on our local legend here in Chicago 🐐 Twista shaped my teenager years in the 90’s. Salute.
Twista is a Chicago native who has been known his chopper style of rapping and for once holding the title of fastest English-speaking rapper in the world according to Guinness World Records in 1992, being able to pronounce 598 syllables in 55 seconds. I remember bumping Kamikaze and The Day After a lot when was younger, so I always had the whole album on repeat. He has worked with Pharrell Williams, Jamie Foxx, Kanye West, Anthony Hamilton, Do or Die, Pitbull, Sylenna Johnson, Too $hort, 8Ball & MJG, R. Kelly, T.I., Jazze Pha, Ludacris, Cee-Lo, Memphis Bleek, Freeway, Petey Pablo, Trey Songz, Lil’ Kim, Juvenile, Mariah Carey, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and many others.
Let’s not forget he worked with Jay & P Diddy
Yeah he did worked with them and also Lil Wayne, T-Pain, E-40, Gucci Mane, OJ da Juiceman, Busta Rhymes, Boosie Badazz, Liffy Stokes
Bruh we just watched the video. U said the same ish
Good bot
My Nug Take that champagne glass and raise it up. Make a toast to yourself for the survival in the world. That's so corrupt.
Bro.. The girl playing the Violin... I'm still in love with her ahah. Her name is Miri ben Hari and is dope AF! She also worked with Styles P on "We gonna Win", another great song 🙌🏾💯
He's a international legend.
My all-time favorite rapper. Great lyricist, wide range of subjects, and so on. He's writing twice as much for one song and brings it every time
Twista is my all time favorite rapper ever also. To me he's the greatest and hardest ever. To me he influenced rap just as much as anyone ever. He made it cool to rap fast like he does and now the whole world raps fast.
Shout out Crucial Conflict. They was Chopping it up on that Hay back then🔥🔥
Don't forget "N*gga lay it dwn on the ground it's a Showdown Don't you come around tryna Clown it a Showdown... yeah
Crucial Conflict had some Cuts..
I'm from Detroit and I know that Twista created the fast rapping he's the rapper that's in the Guinness Book of world record 💯
One thing about Twista is he holds the crown for fast rapping
Na Twista Rebel XD , Bizzy Bone , Flesh N Bone & Eminem have all took turns having the record over the years , it's just Twista was the only one that actually made it officially into the Guinuss book 💯
Well done! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Adrenaline Rush made him a legend.
Hell yea! Chi-Town baby! Appreciate this!
Twista started it and i stand on it 💯💯💯💯
I just remembered "kamikaze" and "college drop out" were the first two unedited c d's that I bought on my own... i was more into Southern real 6acc then 6ut i forth 6oth those cd's 💿 when they first came out...i was in 8th grade... damn I'm old🤦♂️🤣😂🤷♂️
I swear rappers from the Midwest dont get enough props its some good artist in the Midwest but only like 4 ppl do eminem, tech n9ne, bone thugs and nelly....and Twista dont get his props or just do's Twista really 🔥🔥🔥🔥
FACTS. To me Twista is better and colder than them all. Same with Do Or Die and The Legendary Traxster they don't get the love they deserve.
Finally The twist gets his flowers 💐 Chicago goat 🐐
Man Twista has had my ears for a very long time. His wordplay is incredible and and the song Sexy is my favorite joint by him and R. Kelly. The melody, the female singing on the hook plus the music was just bangin and then you had the King 2.0 of R&B Kell's on that joint and yes I still rock with R. Kelly no matter what they claimed he allegedly did. They railroaded his ass to make an example of a Black Superstar that had too much control over his fa base that's all. Hold your head up Kell's and don't drop the Soap lol
Him and Isiah Thomas from the same hood both goats 🐐
Aint Do Or Die from their hood also ?
Chocolate fe's and redbones is my s#!%. I still play all his music from time to time. Glad he's getting his 💐
Twista is definitely a Chicago legend. We still bump his music to this day. He is the king of Midwest rap imo. Bone don't even come close. Chicago definitely invented the style.
Twista, GLC, Apache, Common, Da Brat, Do or Die, Crucial Conflict and Kanye West are the cornerstone pioneers of Chicago Rap 🎶 .
You forgot about psychodrama!
@@Dee-7414ain’t nobody wanna see Buk back then.

Legend Twista! Thanks for the Video
We appreciate you making this video about Twista
Facts. My goat Twista deserves more flowers than he gets.
Clout you a mf bro. You be doing the rappers that really deserve the love. Twista lyrically and flow wise is a demon when you get what he sayin😂. Def a top teir rapper that get left out of convos. He had hits but can get crazy on wordplay. Its almost like he travelled back in time 😂. Still bump Twista since a shorty in back home in the chi
If yall type in feat. Twista mannnnnn from like 97-2000 my mans was killing features with artist we might not know but listen to his verses i fast forward to them or sometimes the songs just dope.
Twista low key got a song with damn near everyone and it don't be no whack verse

It seems my guy was blackballed. How does the album go gold 2 years later and platinum 20 years later in 2007. He ghetto diamond sold iny mind
People was burning alot of mp3s around them years. Alot of people wasnt buying legit albums..
Twista wasn’t a notable feature on Is That Your Chick he Wrote the Song that was then used on Bleek album after Jay heard it working with Timberland who produced the song
Your dad introduced to so many Fire albums. An MVP Fr
Twista is my favorite rapper!!! He put the Chi on his back!!!!!! The father of the chop style of fast rapping that everyone is doing now!!! He held the title in the Guinness book of world records!! And definitely doesn’t get enough credit for being a lyrical assassin!!! Adrenaline Rush was wayyyyyyyyyyy before its time!!!!
I'm Chicago thank you do Common sense next
Amazing coverage good reporting
Heartbeat is my favorite Twista song.
Dope song. I love the difference in tempo. Twist mastered that
L.A Rush twister was walking through the airport was crazy I was like yoooo I gotta race him🔥🔥🔥
I’m from Chicago and Kill Us All was my probably my favorite song from him growing up
Amazing video!! Twista is definitely a legend in the books. Can you do a video on J Dilla if you haven’t already?
Never mind who started it 😳 Twista mastered it 👨🎓❤
Adrenaline Rush is still fire to this day...
Bone was saying Twista rapped fast but didn’t harmonize with his flow until he heard them. Twista said it Do or Die song that made him harmonize!
Facts.
Remember it. There's a West Coast style of rap, a East Coast style of rap, Dirty South style of rap, Midwest style of rap is a little more complex. I will give you 3 examples. Tech 9 Kansas City. Twista Chicago, Bone Cleveland
Legends
great music and a great man
Celebrity overnight was on Need For Speed that was my go to song when i wanted to just ride around the city in the game 😅
Also Wetter was my Top 2 song of Twistas
It was actually midnight club 3 dub edition that overnight celebrity was featured in
I remember he popped up with Do or Die in the summer of 96'
Twista laid some of the fastest tracks EVER!!!
Twista da truth Midwest OG
How the hell did I miss all those adrenaline rush albums???? I thought it was only 1 adrenaline rush album omg. I know what I’m doing this weekend
I love the Purple Haze version of Adrenaline Rush
I like the original but I can definitely agree that version is better
@@cloutcancun like u said Purple Haze ain't got skips
The purple haze version was a cruel bastardization. The original will always be superior
@@lethalmfg1I think his verses are better on ‘Purple Haze’. Especially his first one
@cloutcancun3840 we just gonna agree to disagree with this one. Salute u bro keep grinding
Underappicated midwest legend
Twista a chicago goat & rap legand
Twister best fastest rapper , hands down, accuracy 💯
I remember when he first came out with the funky toungue twista
Adrenaline Rush and kamikaze still slap to this day
Dont forget Crucial Conflict was from the CHI in the early days
Well done! 💪🏿✊🏿🫡
Underrated!
Fire video fam brought back memories
Adrenaline rush is a classic wtf
Kid Sensation was the first fast rapper, he was on Sir Mix A Lots label where Everlast, yes that Everlast got his start. It was way before the Baby Got Back track.
Real Bone fans know Krazy was the only one that rap actual words fast. Bizzy Bone was just mumbling syllables. Lazy & Wish didn’t rap fast @ all. I love Bone, although they can’t do what Twista does. Only one close to Twista is Krazy. A Twista & Krazy duo album back in the 90s would have been everything.
Twista Adrenaline rush changed my life in so many different ways......I even lost my virginity bumping Get it wet on the way over there🤣🤣 But Adrenaline rush is a PHENOMENAL Album that us out here in L.A. ..Inglewood California was playing in heavy rotation.......The Best Song In my opinion is Unsolved mystery 💯💯🫡 Just take a moment out your day ppl to really direct that masterpiece.....i.mean he was rapping fast but talking street lingo but still keeping it fly with the freshest songs for the Ladies💯🫡 Absolutely One of my favorite artist and his music timeless👑🏆🌴
Great video nice too hear your child
Hood memory I sub too you
Man good job… man you really did your homework
Insane dills
Good video 💯💯
Top 10 all time easy
1 thing u missed Kanye west produced po pimping
For real?? I didnt know that either. Damn that camr out in like 96. Idk Ye was working way back then
No he didn't. The Legendary Trackster produced that whole album. His style has been copied for decades from the east to the west and especially Memphis and down south.
@@naswiipp i mean i could believe it bc they all from the Chi but i didnt think Kanye was doing beats way back then
I just looked it up. It was Trackster. But Ye started doing beats and rappin the same year Po Pimp came out
Cap. The Legendary Traxster did.
Everybody go listen to Crysis with Tech9 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Its called TWISTIN... not choppin also... Twista also became popular in Chicago, not from going elsewhere, but from doing Po Pimp with Do or Die...
"Feel so good" off of adrenaline rush descibed every day life in the Chi. Street mfs probably had a day or 2 in the summer descibed by twista in that song. I know i did. Hearing that to this day brings me back to "rolling through the hood with Phillies and h*#s, straight pimpin with no where to go". My nigg.
Can we get a video on The Dayton Family from Flint Town please?

You mention all the good songs on kamikaze 24's featuring TI and one last time.
My big brother had his kamikaze tape on cd
A lot of people was rapping fast in the early 90s. Nobody stole nobody style. You can't bite somebody you never heard of. But BONE gets the most love and hate.
BTNH #1
Twista crushed them Bones easily.
@@Bob-te3le opinions are like booty holes.

We know bone didn't start it listen to crucial conflict with Twista
You forgot the song hopeful with faith evens
Gigalo Tony was the first fast rapper
She said she want some Marvin gaye some Luther vandross
The Day After is a very underrated album and surprisingly good during 2005 that's when Mainstream Hip-pop music started taking things a little bit cheesy with that snapping mess.
One word barz. 😂
Let's not forget. I believe Kanye West made that beat.
F Kanye
@@jasona9453 I heard if you get a million likes on this. He'll say fuck you too.
Whatever happened to Twista? Thanks for the video.
I think he lives in a gated community still in Crete Illinois, but I'm know about his music career.
He’s a shooting instructor. Nice with it too.
Only thing similar about Bone Thugs and Twista style is that they both spit fast,,, honestly they have different styles of u ask me. I’m a big fan of both but they flip shit a lil different

Yo fam, i appreciate u for this one. Hes always been in my top 10. Twista and Busta are the pioneers of the fast flow PERIOD!! Hell Busta is the only Nyc rapper i really f wit.. but Adrenaline rush is my favorite. 1st time i herd it i was hooked. I love that fast flow, No body ever mentiones twista when i comes to rap. And its sad, mostly because they cant keep up with what hes saying. Those who can, LOVE HIM.
Another great thing about twist, when he had to slow it down for songs like freaky thangs on Ludacris' album or celebrity overnight it was fire, he really changed it up on warm embrace. Twista is unique and definitely has respect by a lot of us who came up in the 90's .
That Twista Busta song Can You Keep Up is straight fire. 2 legends killing the mic.
