I prefer this Safeslice Mandoline, but maybe you'd rather get a Mueller Austria Mandline. Watch my review here: ruclips.net/video/uLMCCJaosK8/видео.html
I ordered a dash safeslice to use when cutting fruit and veg for dehydrating. When the cuts are consistent I can take things out all at once instead of having to put the thicker cuts back to process longer
Maybe you can find a way, but from what I know, the Dash Safe Slice doesn't come with a ridge slicer which is one key to making waffle cut fries. The other key is a 90 degree rotation between slices. You can watch Ethan make waffle fries here: ruclips.net/video/IP6vgPVkgHI/видео.html
As long as the citrus is small enough to fit inside the food feeder, it would work. So limes and lemons should work fine, but I believe most oranges are too big to fit. You would have to quarter the orange first.

I hadn't thought of needing consistent slices for dehydrating. Another use for the Dash Safeslice.
It's supposed to also come apart by squeezing the 2 lower tabs for cleaning. Why didn't you show us that?
👍 Thank you, this is very good and useful video. I watched it because I have bought a vertical safe one
Glad it was helpful!
Hell's Kitchen brought me here when 2 chefs uses a mandoline slicer and that's Andy & DeMarco
Welcome
I have this mandoline and it's great, but it doesn't appear to be able to make waffle cuts. Have you figured out how to do this using this model?

Is it good for citrus?

@@HappyHealthyWife Thank you!
1:57 not washing hands?
It does appear that my hands have some vegetable peelings or something on them. Not sure how that happened.
