My Mommy bought me these rollers when I was 16 years old. I am now 52, and I'm still using them. I have updated to the new version. The first set I got, you had to use salt in the water. I have very straight hair, that would never hold curls until I started using these steam rollers. Now, they hold curls for days. My hair is as long as yours, and I will put 6 rollers in for 10 minutes. I have to do this 4 xs to get all of my hair curled, and it can get very curly. I love that they don't do any damage to my hair. Your hair is very beautiful!
Did you try the original where you had to add salt to the water? I had that one and want to know if this one works just as well. I bought the Shark system and just tried it out. The curl didn't hold. I'm thinking of sending it back and getting this. The old version worked so well.
I’ve had my Caruso Curlers for at least 30 years, if not longer. I use them every now and then just for something different. The only thing I don’t like is the foam padding has disintegrated on some of them, which can be expected after such a long time. I wish I could get them re-foamed😄. I’ve even used them on my daughter’s hair once for her prom. Her hair is stick straight and she almost cried when she took them out.

I hear you! Some of mine are so old they are falling apart. I have been buying up big rollers when I get a chance.
