Thank you! I’m glad I could help you on your Monday. Female Joe Dirt is on Instagram so I thought it was only fitting. I hope you have a great rest of your week.
Hope you keep posting videos! ❤ I'm going to get some uploaded soon! My atomic red /purple carrots and Mary Washington asparagus gave me seeds / berries this year!!! Seeds!!! I'm so excited!! 💥🧡🧡🥀🌸🦋🧑🏻🌾🌱🤗🦋🌸🥀🧡🧡💥
Oh no!! I’m so sorry! I would’ve never caught them had I not checked the soil. Peroxide for a week worked like a charm. I haven’t seen them since. Good luck!
Oh man I stumbled across this video 7 months and 5 months too late. I’ve dealt with root maggots one time in an organic grow. All I did was 2 different kinds of species of nematodes (a beneficial insect that will eat them) plants fully recovered on their own no problems at all, however I think I did discover a little bit sooner. That gave the plants time to recover till harvest before it got too cold. Maybe in sharing this you guys can try it out, or keep it in mind if you ever run into them again.
Right?! I was shocked to see maggots, I think it has to do with this new bed we built. I had only ever associated maggots with food scraps we throw in the compost and even then it’s usually too hot for them to survive. I had a full on meltdown for 10 minutes and then came to terms that we may not get the harvest we wanted from this bed. And that’s ok, there’s always next year.
@@sunrisefarm_on_the_hill 🤞 hopefully you'll still have an amazing yield this year. Maybe the maggots will make the soil ready and fit for next years harvest 😅❤
Looking good
Love the intro/outro music. 🎶👌
Everything is looking so good! I hope you're able to nip the maggots in the bud.
Thank you! It’s looking promising. I don’t want to speak too soon because we have a lot of rain coming and they like moisture. But I’m hopeful.
Your intro quote gave me a giggle since it’s Joe Dirt lol simple things to make Monday morning a bit better ☺️

I subbed Jess, but she only has shorts. Hopefully she'll do regular videos soon! ❤😊❤
Thanks for this video! I’m currently dealing with this now. I’ve lost 4 watermelon plants and 6 pepper plants😢
