We have plenty of shopping centres like this throughout Malaysia. I think it's because one of the most common hobbies of Malaysians is shopping🤣. Even with so many shopping malls, all of them are usually crowded on weekends. Malaysians' mindsets be like: nothing to do this weekend? go shopping!😅
Almost the same in germany. Saturday? Lets go shopping. But people are always shocked when i tell them that stores are closed on sundays. "The stores are closed on sundays? But that is the day everyone has freetime." I always answer "Yes, sunday is the day where everyone has freetime" Most people don't get it at first time hearing.
@@nicolekuo8402 well, even in germany not everyone has freetime on a sunday ;-) fuel stations with their shops, shops at train stations or airports, restaurants, and other things are open. Think about clothing stores and supermarkets, those are closed.
