It should be worth noting that Dragon's Havoc and Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest are available for purchase on the Atari VCS as well, in case you have one and don't want to spend the money on an actual cartridge. Both of them are great games.
While you can find roms on the internet, supporting the developer is the best way. Because the more money the developer has the more likely you will get another game. If the developer is doing well off then they can produce more.
Have you ever mentioned Lunar Patrol? I can’t recall you mentioning that one before. Not sure if it’s complete yet but looks like a good solid take on Moon Patrol which is a favourite of mine. Also really wish I would have grabbed a copy of Popeye before Atari Age stopped selling it I guess because of licensing.
Crazy Bricks is a great one fom Atariage. Paddle controls works well with it. My biggest gripe, and its a big one, is I HAVEN'T received my last chance games yet!
There are plenty of awesome games on the 7800. Especially homebrew. If you have a real 7800 then get a game drive so you can download and play nearly everything. But if you have a 2600+ you'll need to track down real carts!
Dude, my brother and I grew up with Atari…2600 and 7800… my brother has both our systems and all the games now but came across your channel and just wanted to say thank you for your content and keep it up! Thank you!
0:34 a port or 2? There’s like 5 ports better Than the NES. Have you played NES Mrs pac-man? The green mazes keep me up at night. I thought the millipede for NES was a port of centipede as it wasn’t chaotic at all. Worst part is, Dig dug never came to the states for the NeS, but the 7800 revived a great port in the US of A.
Too bad the Popeye ROM wasn't released. If you have a 7800, get a GameDrive, a Mega7800 or a Seagull'78, they're worth it. Bought Rikki & Vikki on Steam and thanks to the Atari Age forums I'm able to play on original hardware. Played the A.R.T.I. and EXO demos, gotta buy the ROMs.

At the risk of sounding stupid, is it not possible to buy the roms for the more requested homebrew titles rather than looking for the cartridge? Even a comprehensive demo set would be nice.
@@johnrussell8086 you can buy roms for most of MuddyFunsters games. It's a feature coming soon to AtariAge. But a few don't have any roms available that I know of. It would be game to game. Demos are fine but usually stop you from progressing past a certain point.
