I decided to make a short montage for my preset that showcases the effects in most of the game's different areas. Link: www.nexusmods....
Other mods showcased in the video include:
Evie's Ultra HD texture pack: www.nexusmods....
Prepare to Die Again (different enemy, bonfire, item placement): www.nexusmods....
*NOW* it looks like a remaster instead of a downgrade, good job.
This looks incredible. This is how the remaster should have looked. Thank you for this! ❤
You're very welcome, I hope you enjoy. If you have any problems, let me know and I'll be glad to help.
you my friend, you are a LEGEND. Thank you
ok I just came from your older ReShade video and I must say this is a huge improvement. The first one looked too high contrast and with too much bloom. This on the other hand is beautiful. Can’t wait to try it out.
Definitely looks way better. It's crazy how bad they fucked up the visuals in the Remaster. And you can't even buy the original on steam anymore. Pretty insulting.
Very good mod, very diverse too so if you don't like a certain setting you can turn it off. Only thing I turned off was the DOF, other than that, amazing preset.
this shit is amazing
this looks rely good but the thing is when i put the mod files into the game directory and run the game the game wont lunch
Fantastic work, is this compatible with DSR 2020 Textures? I don’t see why not as they are independent changes however I would love to use both
They are compatible, I use both as well
simplemente hermoso
English isn't my first language, but see if you can help me. I have a 1060 and the full mode is running smoothly in 1080p, but the game isn't near beautiful as yours in the video. Some option I have to disable in the game menu? My antialiasing is set to TXAA High I think, Vsync on, all the effects on.
Make sure your ingame brightness is set to 5, which is what the preset is built for. Other than that, I have motion blur off but everything else is set like yours. You can try setting the hud scale under game options to 0.65x, because the hud is way too big by default and looks ugly. Mine is set to off for the video because it makes the game more immersive, but it can be harder to play like that. Also, in games like Dark Souls where the player model takes up a huge portion of the screen, I find the game looks better in general if you wear a nice looking armor set. The full version of the preset is what I used in the video and I didn't modify anything to look better for the video so that shouldn't be the problem.
I use this 4k texture mod in the video, but I believe the old version I used was only covering Firelink Shrine and Undead Burg. Still, the textures are definitely better than the default textures. Link: www.nexusmods.com/darksoulsremastered/mods/55
If you can tell me something specifically that looks wrong, I can help with that.
How much does this affect your FPS?
Didnt affect my fps, but my temps went up
This is amazing! Incredible work! Runs perfectly but when I select the full reshade my fps goes down and gets lock to 30. Is it something capping the frames or just my GPU?
The ingame vsync caps your FPS to 30 any time you drop below 60, so you should turn that off. If you still have low FPS after that, it's just your GPU. You can switch adaptivesharpen for lumasharpen for a decent FPS boost
Should I get the bloom or no bloom version?
Video is showing the version with bloom, that's the default unless you don't like the effect.
damn. i guess i have to switch to the remaster now since theres more players and this mod exists lol
I've downloaded it and followed all instructions on the files page. However when in DSR I press Shift+F2 and nothing happens. I saw in your ReShade video you recommended renaming the d3d11 files which I did and this has not worked either :/
Solved! I wasn't extracting into the game directory as I thought (I moved the downloaded zip file to game directory, did 7Zip "Extract here" and then worked perfectly! This is so so pretty, this plus the texture mod on Nexus makes it look like the Demon Souls PS5 remaster).
@@Gomolon95 can you recomend using it instead of dark souls remastered?
I know you clearly state "Remastered", but thought I would ask if this would work with PTDE as well? I don't want to go Remastered due to the audio issues being present that were fixed in PTDE ages ago so wanted to know.
It would work with some tweaks, but it would look completely different because the lighting system is much different in the remaster
@@MrRiadon Ah yes, I didn't consider that. Thx
I can't get it to work
I wonder if there's a mod like this for the Switch version.
how install this mod? Please make video guide. Regards

It's very simple to install
thx
another example that you can only make this ugly game uglier
