@@jameswg13 Nah, I don't think Kimi is interested in that. In his book he clearly said that when he's done driving, he's done with the sport. He wants to spend time with his family, he doesn't want/need to linger around the circus that F1 has become anymore. He also said in the book that he respected Nico Rosberg when he left F1 because he wanted to spend time with his family, but then Nico returned as commentator a year later - and Kimi didn't understand that and his respect to Nico was gone. So yeah, while I'd really like to see Kimi drive or at least be at the sport for at least another 10 years, he's not that kind of person who'd like to do that. He's not that much into F1, he just loves driving.

Many drovers speak a little bit of Italian, its because Italian go-karting junior series are best in the world and many F1 drivers competed in this series at some stage during their junior racing stage. Also STR is Italian team, I remember even Vettel in STR used his Grazzie Raggazzi on the radio.

Actaully: Imagine Vettel retirement 19/20 and Kvyat has no more chance on a RB Seat, I could imagine quite well that he gets asked by Ferrari. They were also quite impressed with his Sim work. Because I can’t see gio in a ferrari and illot and Schumacher are still quite far away. Ricciardo does definitely not want to play a number 2 and Bottas is now fine with Merc. So Kvyat could be an option

Race accident tho. Kimi could have left a little bit more space cuz Max his left front tyre was already in front of Kimi's rear right. Max had nowhere to go and braking there would result in someone crashing into his rear too. Aggressive push from Max but i don't think it was either Kimi nor Max's fault here. Kimi couldn't see him and Max couldn't pull back.

@@0xXKARLOSXx0 Thats what he had to do during the many years he spent at Ferrari. If you wanna be successful with Ferrari, driving is not enough. You have to do the job of the engineer and the strategist aswell, because they seem to be incapable of doing that shit themselves. Best recent proof of that was the German GP because in chaotic conditions like that, driver input gets incredibly important and Vettel being used to that made almost everything himself, while at Mercedes they fucked up badly because their drivers arent used to having to give a lot of input as the engineering and strategy are almost always perfect.
Mercedes in 2019: Vettel is not that quick.

Those alfas are pretty rapid tho. They're quite possible the fastest midfield cars slightly ahead of the McLarens
@@AutosportDesign Yeah, they're deffinately not as fast as Ferrari, Mercedes or Red Bull, but I think that McLaren is quicker and Renault is similar to Alfa. Alfa is faster than Toro Rosso, Racing Point, Haas and of course Williams. Raikkonen is doing great in an Alfa car because he is a fantastic driver. Hovewer, an average driver like Giovinazzi has 1 point in an Alfa. The same amount as Kubica in a Williams. So they are in the middle of the fastest cars.

I like Kvyat, but there really isn't much more to gain for a RB at Spa than p5 when you start from the back in your debut race. Both drivers made the absolute most out of their race

Love this new Kvyat. Little detail but when Albon caught Gasly, Gasly let him through easily. In contrast, Kvyat did move on him aggressively on the straight and was genuinely trying to defend against Albon. Just shows his new found confidence

Not saying Albon's worse than Kvyat, I think they're quite equal, it's just very pleasing to see someone fighting so hard for a promotion.
I wrote the same on Instagram today already, but here we go again: Alex had/has to ADAPT to the new car and learn it's strengh and limits. This is not a video game where the RB is rated like 8/10 and the Toro Rosso 6/10. A better car doesn't indicate less work. Furthermore, Kviat is older and has more experience than Alex. They have impressed both for sure, but for me Alex is definitely worthy of the seat.

Please explain for what Kvyat got penalty this year in China? For literally doing absolutely nothing wrong but FiA is much more harsh on him cause he is a Torpedo meme and another penalty for him will only cause jokes on social media between clueless fans. I've seen a lot of Verstappen fans saying Kimi should've moved out of the way. But, Verstappen literally had no room. He divebombed into a gap that didn't exist. And Kimi couldn't see him.

I'm not trying to chat shit about Albon, he's a great driver obviously and it's a good first effort, but the RB team has very high standards now, and he is going to be under a lot of pressure for the rest of the season. He really needs to show what's he's capable of in every race. Kvyat has no business taking a podium finish in a STR car, I think. So Albon clearly has a lot to worry about right now.
