That happened to my son when he was a toddler- he hit a front tooth when he fell- he chipped it the first time and it had to be filled. Which was a bit of a nightmare- our regular dentist filled it while my late husband held our son in a body lock basically! It wasn't as bad as it sounds but it wasn't ideal- but we live in a rural area. Then after it was filled, he fell down a few steps and slammed into it again- then it turned dark. But his "died" and he had to go to an actual hospital at age 2 for surgical removal. His adult tooth ended up fine. But that tooth removal cost like $3k back in 1996! Insurance paid for half. So, I hope her tooth just is fine. We were dealing with abscess. Glad you had a great VBS. I remember those days. I never liked the chaos of the classrooms, so I always stayed in the kitchen and was in charge of snacks!

My daughter had that happen. She feel on a concrete flood at age 2. It started looking dark. They checked hers and she killed the root of the baby tooth. We had to have a baby tooth root canal done so when the permanent tooth wouldn’t have any nerve damage
My daughter has the SAME tooth discoloration. Dentist said she must have had a fall but I don’t recall her falling or hitting her mouth. She is 6 years old now, said she should be loosing her two front teeth by Christmas so he didn’t want to do anything about it. We will seeeee!!!
Alyssa my daughter was around I think 9yrs old when she fell and hit her mouth.. I took her too the dentist and he said to keep an eye on it and that it would resolve itself and the color of the tooth would come back. My daughter is 37yrs old and her tooth is still discolored and I was told give it time. We’ve heard it all. She would have to get some type of whitening on her tooth just to match the other one but each passing day it gets darker. I would say by the time she’s 13 and it still the same I would have them too do something if zoey would want that. It just doesn’t go away....
I feel the same way about my car. It's a 2009 car and I got it in 2011 and it still works fine so I want to keep it even though my family is trying to get me to buy a new car

I bruised my upper front teeth as a kid and when my adult teeth came in they had a green tint near the gum line. It took a few years but the green went away.

@t6142 belle isn’t alone in the opinion. I think 2 is too old for one. There is a big difference between a 4 month old (Baby Rhett) and a 29 month old (Maci). Nobody just outgrows immaturity. They need to learn early that they can’t have things just because their sibs have something. If I were Alyssa, I would have never let Maci regress in the first place and I am a junior in college majoring in Elementary Education, so I know things about child development. Have a good day!

Our church is doing that VBS program starting this Sunday night (7/9)! We are blessed, our church feeds all workers and their families, dinner each weeknight. So great that your kids love VBS!
