G'day and thank you for the up date. This is a really beautiful aircraft and the craftsmanship is one that is becoming a lost art, to see how you have moulded the balsa from a piece into a wing tip ect. , is the filler dope and talcon powder? It looks like it.This aeroplane is a absolute credit to you all I have enjoyed the videos so far look forward to the next. To all of you kind regards John Kinnane Tasmania Australia
I am going to be building the same Cessna but I need to know where you got your LEDs that are on the tail? Also, where can I get the cockpit controls and instrument panel? Love the job you did on the plane. Oh, I almost forgot to ask you. Did you just primer and then paint the plane or did you fiberglass it first?
Hi Richard, Good luck on the build. She 's a beauty! Our build isn't completed yet! We had to take a break, but we will finish it! We covered all balsa with fibreglass. Then more filler and lots of sanding down, in several steps, building up a perfect finish... The cockpit is home built, but probably we'll use a 3D printed version of our own design, as one of us got a 3d-printer in the meantime... The LED system is UniLight (Controller 8-Channel PRO) and led's. We'll be installing taxi/landing light on the nose wheel. Retractable landing lights on the wing-tips. Nav and strobe on wing-tips. Beacon on top of the rudder. We installed a tiny camera in the leading edge of the fin. Keep in touch! We'd love to hear from your build.
@@visionairhd I forgot to ask. How much would you charge to send me a copy of your instrument panel? I love the look when you lite it up and can't wait to see the 3d print. If that turns out good I may want to buy a copy of that also.
@@visionairhd If you could post a link or the printable image of the control panel that I could download, please. Trying to get all my ducks in a row before I start the build. The only thing that I will have to get last are the motors for it.
@@richardwhite7322 We're not there yet Richard. And we not here to do business ;-). If we can help you will be glad to, but for the moment we don't have any new files or designs for the cockpit. Greetings from Belgium
+Michael Hollier Thanks a lot Michael. We're from Belgium - Europe. She will fly in the summer of 2016. Have a great new years eve and an even better 2016!
I am on the west coast of BC Canada, I will be looking forward to seeing you guys take her airborn. I wish I could be there...have a "large scale" new years!! See ya!
+MotorsbyShooter She'll be powered by two DLE55 cc engines. Weight wise I expect around 25kg. But even 30kg won't really be a problem. She has a massive surface area. Best new year wishes!
All the guys building this look like very experienced rc aircraft builders. Did you look at the plans/ dimensions of a proper scale Cessna for this scratch build? Scaling down to 25% size to exact dimensions does not mean it will fly, nothing is ever that simple!! Obviously this team know how to calculate wing loadings, building straight true and balanced and keeping weight to a minimum. Building an rc like this cannot be guess work. Can't wait to see it finished and the first flight.
+p3arljam26 Hi, the plane is not finished yet. We will post a new video as soon as the build gets into a more advanced phase. For the moment allot of time is going into details.
Do what you need to do Shelby. This project is at the stage that we put online. As soon as we make progress, we will put up more information. So, no maiden for us = no maiden for anybody. Even if you're on RUclips ;-) Hope you keep an eye out for our following videos, even if it might take some time...
Super brilliant work .Well done. Must see first fight.

As soon as I get my short kit I am going to do videos of the build. I will send you a link once I have the first video up.
Can't find an update for this build. Maiden?
Well done but why in Bulsa , one mishap and it’s start again
It's meant to fly so concrete isn't an option 😁 and we don't have the resources formula one teams have
Geweldig model. Vakwerk!!!

What part of the world will she have her maiden? Sweet job guys..thanks for the inspiration!! Have a great day..

How is she coming along?
Gonna be a big puppy and looking good. How much will she weigh and what engines will you use?

what happened to this airplane?
Beautiful airplane! But I must ask, why a c421?
+Gravity Junky As you said it yourself, Beautiful airplane! 😉

Was this plane ever completed?

Any update?
When a model gets to this size, why can't the material used to build it be aluminum like the real airplane?
It can. Bit its heavy. Much heavier than balsa and bass wood.
can u build a real one
kd a 3 parte?
+Walber De Carvalho!hi Walber. The wing is in three parts, but I'm only guessing that is what your question is about :-)
I am sure he wants to know when you will post a video of finished plane flying.
That is correct, maiden flight?
Part one, part two, no part three, no maiden. What a pisser, now i gotta thumbs down two videos that I liked. Sorry.
