I remember seeing this in the theater with my friend. We both kept saying how we _wished_ we'd had a girlfriend like Leslie when we were that age. Make that "girl friend". So picture two full-grown men sitting in shock during the climax of the movie, and each trying to keep the other from seeing his tears. This movie has a lot of "nostalgia-berries" for me. Growing up poor in small towns in Iowa, I can remember seeing my parents huddled over a pile of bills trying to figure out how they were going to pay them... and totally oblivious to it. They worked hard to keep me from realizing we were poor. While I relate to Jess... I was a boy Maybelle, the baby of the family. Watching this movie helped me realize why my elder siblings resented me. This and "Frequency" are two movies I like a lot, but can't bring myself to watch.
I loved watching this movie as a kid, but I never paid attention to the sad moments when I was younger. This movie will definitely pull your heartstrings😢
Beautiful reaction! Nice to see new content. One of the best reactions you've done in quite some time. Ketty is fitting in nicely. The only thing missing is Michelle singing. Perhaps we will soon find out if Ketty has good singing pipes as well?
One of the realist aspects of this movie is how young boys get treated in a family full of girls. Such a cold relationship. It took someone dying for a son to finally get attention
When I was 6 years old, my only friend from school died in his sleep due to a cardiac arrest, I was too young to understand what my parents meant by "he went to live with daddy in heaven". Later, at 12 years old, I watched this movie and was able to understand, cry intensely and feel the pain of grief. It was my first grief and also my first cinematic trauma haha but still, it is a beautiful, incredible movie and certainly very special to me. 😭🩵
I haven’t watched this movie in so many years because I knew how emotional it was but I’m glad I got to watch it again with you girls, what an experience, biggest hugs to you all, sending my love!!
There is a video out there, "No Rain No Rainbow Bridge to Terabithia" that is mind blowing, but be forewarned, you will need tissues for your eyes and nose.
I remember having to read the book back in high school for Literature class & had to answer questions about the chapters. The moment at the end was definitely heartbreaking.
Another great movie with the girl who played Leslie is called Winn Dixie! And another great movie with the boy who played Jess is called Zathura! I recommend both please and thank you
I remember watching this as a kid way back in elementary school and I was absolutely crushed at that one scene and they went I haven’t rewatched it that many times, this movie is beautiful and imaginative but also heartbreaking and gut wrenching at the same time, rewatching it with you girls was so much fun but also definitely cried a lot, especially seeing you girls cry!!
Super , że zareagowałyście na ten film:) Bardzo go lubię. A końcówka zawsze łamię mi serce:( Mam nadzieję , że zareagujecie także na "Moja dziewczyna" z 1991 roku
Hey Homies! Please watch Moulin Rouge (2001)....it won't just make Ellie cry...it will make ALL OF YOU cry. Probably the greatest story about love I've ever seen. Also watch Little Shop of Horrors (1987)! Both are musicals full of nothing but banger after banger!!!!
I love their reactions but I hate seeing these girls cry, it honestly breaks my heart every time which is why I try to stay away from reactions where they’d get emotional
@@ryan_hawks12 Ahaha well I'm not TRYING to be a sadist, I just think it's sweet when reactors cry cause it shows me there is some good in this world and people who are caring!
I haven’t seen this movie in over 10 years and so glad I got to rewatch it with you 3 beautiful ladies, but it absolutely tore me up at the end, especially seeing you girls cry, just wanted to give you all a big hug, but I loved the reaction, love you all!’❤❤
Hello girls I hope you are well, I would like to suggest a film if you have not seen it Homeward bound: The incredible journey. It's my favorite film 🤗 Kisses 😘😘😘 from France I love you 🥰🥰🥰
That movie fucking crashed me when i was a little kid. I think i understood the concept of death after watching Bridge to Terabithia and Pan's Labyrinth
Hi Jesus forgive you don't matter what you did Jesus love you just the way you are Jesus will set you free of any addiction except Jesus in your life and you will see ❤❤❤

The very first time I watched this movie, was in Elementary in 2008. I watched it with the whole class after we finished the chapter book
Omg, did the whole class start sobbing?
@owenboyles3638 some did haha
Ellie's "Why would you think that?!", then gasp before it was said aloud is so authentically dramatic.

I know what you mean. Certain movies like this seem to be able to perfectly tap into how it felt being a kid

Used to make me sad as a kid but now oh boy 😭
They made us watch this as kids in school. One of the earliest films to make me cry. 😢
