This video should be titled - a walk in some parts of central Liepaja and the Seaside (Jūrnalas) park. But Liepāja is much bigger and much more diverse than that. I hope you also saw the other parts of the center, Rose square, Peter's market etc, and also the lake and, of course, Karosta with all its sights and objects. :)
@@msmolyansky wow this was quick 😂 and why did the russians left? was latvia part of the URSS?? i don't know shit about the european history besides what i learned in school (i'm brazilian btw)
maria fernanda russians comrades invaded Latvia in 1939 and then the Baltic states became independent in 1991 so all Russian military personnel had to leave . So they left by the middle of the 1990s . The evil empire collapsed and the Baltic states became part of the EU so the they can’t invade them anymore 😂😂😂😂😂 Why are you so interested in Liepaja ? School ?
@@msmolyansky i was just searching for the best countries to live in europe and i came over the name Latvia (which i had never heard of) and started reading things about the country, finding out music bands and etc. I'm just in quarentine and bored asf 😂 and somehow ended in this video. And about you saying that i might be interested bc of school, i'm pretty sure almost no one in Brazil knows that the country Latvia exists, much less Liepaja 😂😂 Thank you for the explanation and i'm sorry for any mistakes in my english =)
Whats your problem alla - I am from Riga city and I am happy that in 1994 Latvia kicked out 400 000 ExSoviet Union army soldiers, officers and etc. with all they familys. It's been annoying to see at every corner these persons from bloody totalitarism regime what is Soviet Union.
Feel like at home again :) :)

Paldies!! Prieka!!
Liepaja probably lost at 50% of population after the late 90s . When I was growing up it was a busy busy city . It looks like a dead town now
do you know the reason (or have a hypothesis)?
maria fernanda : Most of all Russian Comrades left 😂😂😂😂
