Speaking about the palette: I would have added 1 ocher yellow and 1 neon yellow, 1 fuchsia, 1 orange, 1 black. so instead of calling it "golden" they could have called it "dream golden"... and I would have even bought it! 😅
Someone said she may do that with the mini as it is meant to accompany the palette it is “matched” with but has different shades. We shall see.
That said, the looks Rachel makes are always skillful and flattering. She's so fortunate to have those big beautiful eyes and ample lid space.
When I saw this palette on Instagram I thought, "how boring - we all have browns and golds." I feel like Natasha has done a lot of this - taking 1 colour and making an entire palette of it. That's great if your vibe is just brown and gold, but, really, do we need all these pans of the same stuff...? I prefer the original that at least had 2 pops of colour thrown into the mix.

Same. The palette is pretty, but I'm not willing to pay so much money for so many similar browns and golds within one palette.
Thank you for your honest review. I tried one of the Natasha Denona's mini palettes just to give it a try. The product went on very smoothly but I was disappointed with the staying power. It wore off quickly on me, both with and without a primer. I won't purchase another one of her products after spending so much on the palette. I expected better.

the Gold palette also had a matte mustard that could take looks into a more grungy direction. I think ND as a brand tries to appeal to all their fans, and this release is for the neutral lovers. Something fun will come along soon enough I'm sure. Thank you for your honest review!

First, any creator who uses "foreshadowing" gets my vote! I, personally, have never considered "boring" to be a synonym for "elevated." Although I like neutrals, I don't feel I need this one.

As a die hard neutral fan, I think the palette is beautiful. It reminds me a lot of some of the Tarte palettes. The highlighter trio is stunning, in my opinion. Even the lipgloss is nice. Not saying I'm necessarily going to purchase anything, but I think the colors are a classic.
Love your first look. I didn't realize that the gloss is a plumping formula. No thanks!
I like the 2nd look as well, but my favorite is number 1.

@rachelapalmieri I'm going to wait and see if she comes out with a Mini version. I don't think I'd get bored with an all neutral palette in the least. It's very pretty. And why is everyone jumping on the bandwagon with lip plumpers? I hate them! The pain with some of them is unbearable!
I think your looks are gorgeous, the first look with your hair up and a little winged liner was giving me Audrey Hepburn vibes 🤩But I agree the pallet overall doesn’t have enough variety, even though it’s really pretty. If I’m spending that much money on a pallet I want it to be something super special with more variation to make it worth the $$

For some that has Natasha’s entire collection, I have to say this is the first time I don’t run and buy her new release. Mind you I have the OG gold palette and I love it, but this golden looks pretty much like everything I have in my collection. I’m trying not to buy without thinking what I’m bringing new to my collection. I’m waiting to see what she releases next. For now this is a pass for me. I so wish they kept those pops of colors! I'm not creative or talented with makeup, but even I can appreciate the presence of those blues/greens. This reminds me of the bronze palette which had a ton of similarities which I didn't love. The Sunrise palette remains my favorite. Loved your looks anyway! Also, am I the only one who seems the resemblance between these highlighters and the Amrezy x ABH collab??

I didn't purchase the original Gold because I wouldn't wear the blues. So, for me, the Golden is perfect. I can always buy a single shadow or colorful eyeliner for a pop. The Oro shade is the only one I won't get much use from. If I'm spending top $$$ on a product, eyeshadow pallette, I need to know I'll use all the shades. TY for the inspiration!

I will pick it up eventually. I see me wearing this in the fall so I will will wait for the sales. Definitely not for the lip gloss I have dry lips and the last thing I need are irritants. I really would love the highlighter because I really like her formula

I felt the same redundancy disappointment for the Glam and Nude palettes. How many only slightly different brown mattes and bronzey/taupey shimmers does a person need?
They could have been reduced to 9 pans for sure.
I'm going to really pause and analyze any larger ND palettes I consider purchasing in the future.
I love the idea of this palette but it has too many similar colours for me.

i don’t own the OG gold palette but i wish she would’ve kept the 2 green/gold shimmers and taken two of the similar shades out. the highlighter palette looks beautiful. the loss is a pass for me entirely because i don’t do burning glosses. i’m not a big fan of her cream to powder shadows whatsoever, but i think both looks were beautiful. i’m not sure if i’d buy this over the INAN palette that’s still on my wishlist. 💛💛💛
ps… i’ve heard that her shadows are much easier to use on natural hair brushes, like the what’s up beauty brushes you used.

The palette is missing my favorite shade Limechrome, which was a gorgeous duochrome gold to a lime green. That shade plus the 2 teals were what made the old palette amazing for me. None of the shades in the new palette are special. We all have golds and browns in a million other palettes. This really needed to have something that set it apart from the rest to be worth the price point. What we got is just plain boring IMO, so I'm gonna skip.

I'm not a neutrals lover (unless they're cool tone) and at this moment I'm not a gold eyeshadow lover either. Also I find the colours too fair and too similar. Although I can see it useful, this colour story doesn't interest me. So it's a No for me and I am so happy about it, more energy and money to other things 😊
Ah, even having seen a comparison with Naked Honey, which I own, and having seen that side to side, they're not so similar as one coud think, if I want a look in this golden realm, I'll go to that palette. More than enough gold for me.

I can’t wear these colours so it’s an easy pass for me. I think in the future unless I’m really in love with a release from her (which for me was the Pastel and Xenon 🤷🏼♀️) I’ll wait for the mini. These two looks are fab with your blue eyes though.

Ok...I know it's not the most exciting palette in the world but I will definitely get a lot of use our of it....I only picked up the palette as I don't wear highlighter that much but it does look very pretty. Have you ever tried the brand Kaima? I just ordered a beautiful neutral palette from them that looks pretty amazing.
I have not tried that brand, nor have I even heard of them!!

This time of year I wear mostly warm darker and colorful shades. This is WAY too neutral for me. I wanted to love it but I think Yucca is more exciting than this. If I wanted a neutral palette I think I would reach for My Dream Palette. This is just boring for me. I’ll probably get it when it’s on sale.

I purchased the palette and have already returned it. The formula doesn’t seem as consistent as previous palettes. And the looks all turned out the same. Disappointed! The colourpop precious metals is better in my opinion!

This is so one note. If Tarte or UD had released this they would've been roasted. But of course ND gets a pass. Y'all if you want it Alter ego will have a dupe for it in a couple months; for these colors don't spend $70
