ChatGPT is a sofisticated toy. Every time I've asked something, I had to check it's answer. For my line of work it's just a waste of time.

It is, and there is a learning curve to using it "correctly" - but even then you have to check the answers constantly which takes away from the conveninece of using it in the first place

As a very old moose here, AI represents to me incomprehensible sci-fi technology. Barely believable as existing, the opportunities for creators will become immense in the years to come. Incredible.

Thank you for doing this. I was wondering how far along it was and thankfully not that far…yet

What a great example of the value of well-researched, human-created content. ChatGPT and other systems like it should be considered tools to ideate, brainstorm, and offload truly mundane tasks. Not to take over completely. Your video makes a strong case for writers.

AI taking care of the mundane tasks, while letting human input handle the content/research is how I can see AI being helpful - but even then, the person needs to know what the mundane tasks are

This is interesting - I've seen similar poor results with chat GPT providing accurate information in my domain, but the fact that it actually did a decent job of outlining / structuring the information could be valuable for saving time in the beginning of the planning process (assuming the actual technical knowledge is taken care of manually in the next steps lol)

For sure! Laying out the structure of a project can be helpful (but even then it wasn't as thorough as I would have been. Don't know if thats a good or a bad thing! Lol), but I'm glad it's not taking over the actual work of doing the tests. I honestly thought it would do better at comparing the specs, since those are available in text form that it can learn from. But even then, it seemed like it was just making things up

There is some pretty interesting AI on the horizon for video - I'm keeping an eye on it, will make a video about this in the future when the AI is a little more refined. Were safe for now!

Who cares if he's safe as a videographer if he's not safe as a human being - and soon, very soon, we won't be safe. Look around you at what is happening in the world!
