I made this tank as a kid. One of my mates was well impressed with the 'weathering', asking how I'd achieved such a realistic finish. I told him it was from gathering dust on the top of my wardrobe... .
Oh boy, now this is what I love about 1/72... it can be weird but it forces the modeller to get creative and to do things outside of the box (both literally and metaphorically). And you are a brilliant artist, craftsman and hobbyist who always impresses us with this incredible, jaw dropping results. I only wish I could afford to support your work. Maybe someday I can, but until then please accept my sincere words of appreciation and admiration for the endless inspiration you've provided me and everyone who watches your channel. Huge fan watching from Calif., U.S. and if you're ever traveling out here please let us know!
This is absolutely crazy !!! All your models are a piece of art !! Thanks for sharing it helps a lot. Especiallly after almost 20 years without building any model kit.
It's absolutely amazing to watch you take a simple plastic model and transform it into a piece of stunning reality... Your keen eye for detail is fantastic!. Thank you for sharing your talent!.
Master class level. You have also the attitude of the master, facing your mistakes and correcting them. Is it just me or does anyone else like a model with a factory new look? ; )
Another great video. I’m not a modeler but I am floored when I watch your videos. I wish I could be as talented. But, you’ve paid for your skills through the many years you’ve been doing it. I’m glad your hobby isn’t easy- no one would appreciate it. I am anxious about seeing your next model. Thank you!
Great effort David.Every one of us who makes plastic models know, that sometimes things don't work the way we wish.Even very experienced modeler have a bad day.But you manage to rescue the paint job into a triumph. Well done and well done for admitting your mistake(s).If any. Keep up the good work. Pavel
I don't know why there are, everytime, some people that dislike Plasmo's videos. He is a very skillful guy and his scale models are simply superbs. Good job Plasmo and thank you so much for this piece of art ;)
Turned out great as always despite the unwanted effects you had throughout the painting process. I learned a lot although I knew a lot already so thanks for all your ideas and inspiration!
David great work - this show how if you are thinking you have made a bad mistake on a model you can correct it with thinking about a solution and skillfully correcting the mistake with the arsenal of tools we have as modellers, positive and well-presented video with a great model as usual
Another Great Model and another informative video. I have been building models since I was six years old. I watch a lot of videos to see how others like yourself build. I have a few friends who are beginners and some more advanced. I encourage them to watch your videos.
Cool cool!! I actually really liked that you were willing to admit to some mistakes. It makes me feel better about all the mistakes that I make too. Still turned out awesome.
Just the details of how you created stuff in 1:72 helps a lot. Thanks you sir. You ask about the results. Well, let's put it this way, if that build was on my shelf I would be a very happy man. :-)
I got this exact model as a gift for Santa Claus' Day from my parents, around 2003, when I was a boy. I remember seeing the box with the mighty King Tiger on it. Back then, although I had been watching plenty of Discovery History and was interested in World War 2, I did not know such a tank. Your video made me smile remembering those old days. Thanks... :)
Inspired me to add some hooks and grille details to my 1/56 models. Went to a tank museum in UK a few days ago and took a tons of pics remembering some of your previous vids.
The old Revell kit is certainly showing its age but great job adding the extra detail. Painting in this scale is always a challenge 😉 Thanks for another great video!
if you want to do masking for camo lines id recommend Maskol by Humbrol, its basically a liquid masking tape, comes off very easily and just works super well, and you dont get paint leaking under it
7:30 you have two possibility- 1.make the tank track with a hairdryer or something similar warm and form a new shape 2. cut the tank track in different little parts and glow it new with a new shape 😉
Great job! I would also try to place some carvings on the front armor to imitate the bounced cannon shells. It would show that the crew has experienced battle before.
Jeff Strong I'd like to suggest you use some hot water instead of the heat gun. Heat guns are too easy to melt everything ! Remember thou what works for one may not work for someone else. Use what works best for you.
The King Tiger came out sensational. The paint job on some German tanks was applied in the field, so they were pretty rough, unless one of the crew was an artist, then the paint job would be great. I always thought that the camouflage would be the colours of their surroundings.
Здравствуйте ! Мне нравиться смотреть на Вашу работу, много полезного для моделистов можно подчерпнуть ! Я не зря подписался на Ваш канал ! Каждая работа Ваша вызывает вдохновение при сборке ! Браво ! 👍 👏
I love when you have models that need improvements, screw buying good models, buy the bad ones so we can see you make modifications, that’s my favourite part of your videos
Just to note, the Tiger II isn’t a super heavy tank. It’s just one of the larger heavy tanks. The model you’ve put together is still amazing, and how it looks bad is beyond me
Great work mate as always. With Revell models I need to bend stuff quite often. When I do, I use a hairdryer to warm the pieces (be careful not to heat them up to much) and then bend them. Once cooled they stay in the right shape.

Lol
Genius
You can do this just use mr cement or Tamiya super thin glue and dust dirt or grinder down rock
I do that as well when I don't have money for the weathering stuff 😂
Same!😂
"i dont know it just doesnt look quite right"....that still looked better than any model iv made...ill cry myself to sleep tonight
Like
It’s the power line isn’t it
Same
I love how you show your "mistakes" and then go on to complete a fantastic looking model!

You're a true master with metal wires and modifications. And your video, s a must watch for modellers who want to improve their skill.
This is tremendous work. I love to see how master modelers tackle the unique problems that these kits present to the builder. This is a master piece.

When it comes to making my models I always like to get pointers from Plasmo, Keep up the good work mate your model making puts most of us to shame.
Master class level. You have also the attitude of the master, facing your mistakes and correcting them. Is it just me or does anyone else like a model with a factory new look? ; )
Neuveriteľne precizná práca. Tie tanky a ich diorámy sú fantastické! Si umelec.
That's probably my favorite camouflage pattern of all time. Great work
Jesteś Wielki .
Gratuluje .Twoje prace to mistrzostwo świata.
Superb 1/72 work. As usual, you get as much detail into this scale as most people manage in 1/35. Looking forward to Part 2

So amazing. Can't wait to the next vid to see how you made the mud look so realistic on the base.
Plasmo's models are at the level where if you look at them, you can't tell if it is a real tank or the model!
and I still think that it is not good. I need a new brain.
I think they are amazing and that you are also amazing
I don't know why there are, everytime, some people that dislike Plasmo's videos. He is a very skillful guy and his scale models are simply superbs. Good job Plasmo and thank you so much for this piece of art ;)
Probably anti-war folk or at least anti-WW2 Germany/"Nazi" folk who don't like the idea of glorifying them.
I think it's computer bots.
It's nice to know you're human and have challenges like we do. Awesome job!
great tiger 2 very nice
Turned out great as always despite the unwanted effects you had throughout the painting process. I learned a lot although I knew a lot already so thanks for all your ideas and inspiration!
I always watch your videos in awe. Amazing work as always mate.
Excellent work for a small scale, not always easy to achieve good results.
David great work - this show how if you are thinking you have made a bad mistake on a model you can correct it with thinking about a solution and skillfully correcting the mistake with the arsenal of tools we have as modellers, positive and well-presented video with a great model as usual
Outstanding. I wish my hands didn't shake. Brilliant lesson for us small scale guys.
@4:04..he says "i think this is satisfactory enough". this guy is the master
Just got back from the Bovington Tank Museum model show, what better way to relax after a long day than with a beer and a plasmo armour video.
Another Great Model and another informative video. I have been building models since I was six years old. I watch a lot of videos to see how others like yourself build. I have a few friends who are beginners and some more advanced. I encourage them to watch your videos.
Watching your work is so comforting
PAL...for a 1/72 scale ..that is a fantastic job !!! That tank looks great !!!
I have exact same model with its soldiers didnt find time to make it , amazing work again with custom metal parts!
Cool cool!! I actually really liked that you were willing to admit to some mistakes. It makes me feel better about all the mistakes that I make too. Still turned out awesome.
I can't find the words... it's wonderful! An amazing model!
Just the details of how you created stuff in 1:72 helps a lot. Thanks you sir. You ask about the results. Well, let's put it this way, if that build was on my shelf I would be a very happy man. :-)
I can't believe that people dislike this video. Awesome model work, especially in that scale.
I think it's computer bots for the negatives.
Thank you for another great video David, you are an inspiration to us all, your modelling skills are amazing!.

Wow, nice job on this. I look amazing!
Inspired me to add some hooks and grille details to my 1/56 models. Went to a tank museum in UK a few days ago and took a tons of pics remembering some of your previous vids.
Brilliant attention to detail.
Your attention to details is amazing my friend. That is why i all ways watch you when your new vids show up. Keep up the great work!!!
P.S. The winter camo wash was very well done in my opinion. :-)
Your work is great, love all your models, you are a true artist! Keep it up.
You've got some serious skill, fantastic job again.
Brilliant... absolutely beautiful. Great work.
"looks bad" looks better than every model ive ever made haha
The old Revell kit is certainly showing its age but great job adding the extra detail. Painting in this scale is always a challenge 😉 Thanks for another great video!
NiiiCCeeeeee very nice work. 👍💯
That size is a bit challenging to detail. But nice all the same.
Just amazing! PLASMO, you are the beast! You are makeing so amazing models even in such a small scale! Pls never stop doing it, love your videos♥
Wie immer von Dir, eine exzellente Arbeit. Wirklich sehr schön.
Beautiful work Plasmo, and very good explanation of steps of building. Top!!
if you want to do masking for camo lines id recommend Maskol by Humbrol, its basically a liquid masking tape, comes off very easily and just works super well, and you dont get paint leaking under it
I have no idea how to paint the tiny crews from my Wespe Revell 1:72 kit, so I am looking forward to the next video! :D
You got so much detail in such little scale, you must have 1:72 scale hands to do some of that stuff, but you still pulled it off, amazing..
Hope not all his ,,parts" are 1:72 :D
@@markusz4447 haha
The best part about a Plasmo Video is the youtube captions butchering your english. Rock on brother!
what are you doing here lol
Das sieht Hammer geil aus👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
7:30 you have two possibility- 1.make the tank track with a hairdryer or something similar warm and form a new shape 2. cut the tank track in different little parts and glow it new with a new shape 😉
Great work David, cant wait to see the diorama being made 👍
Best Yt Chanel of Modelart!

The little tiger is a beautiful little work of art! Thumbs up! 👍
You alwayscan find the details and find it,it is awesome.
i love your accent its pretty funny and cool at the same time and i can still understand you which is awesome
my favourite tank, made by my favourite modeller :)
Another great result. And in 1:72 scale!! Amazing!! Well done David.
Great job! I would also try to place some carvings on the front armor to imitate the bounced cannon shells. It would show that the crew has experienced battle before.
Great job, can't wait for the diorama and figure video.
It is very sophisticated tank ~
It's really cool ~
I've had some success bending the tracks with a heat gun. You have to move fast as they cool off quickly. Great vid as always.
Jeff Strong

This tank looks really cool.
I like it ☺
Great job.
Simply majestic
“Look guys, I know I’m making a lot of mistakes”
Tank becomes more perfect each time ✌🏼🤣
Just to note, the Tiger II isn’t a super heavy tank. It’s just one of the larger heavy tanks. The model you’ve put together is still amazing, and how it looks bad is beyond me
It’s crazy how crazy u are with the details.
Sir, you are truly an artist
You can heat them up with warm water to bend them or hot water to make them jelly
Amazing build, love it♥
Your profile picture is handsome love it
Umton naše jsou Umton naše. :-). Super práce. Krásný Konig Tiger. Eda
Excellent work, great to see the effort you made.
Your 1:72 armor is always total "KILLER" ! :)
Well, you have my vote for model builder of the year.
One more great piece of art :) thanks and keep it coming
Excellent video David, your videos are very informative, full of information.
Великолепно. Прекрасная диорама!!!
Great done. On my channel I rather prefer airplanes, than panzers, but I must do something like that. Beautiful result! ;)
I really enjoy watching your films
Замечательная модель. Прекрасная сборка.
Super video, skládáte fakt úžasný modely
Great work mate as always. With Revell models I need to bend stuff quite often. When I do, I use a hairdryer to warm the pieces (be careful not to heat them up to much) and then bend them. Once cooled they stay in the right shape.
that sound like a very good method, i will try it someday ^^
Great job!! Always enjoy your work!!!
you are the master of your craft.
Excellent, you should try out some of the Rubicon kits, for the scale they can’t be beaten on detail...
Some guy: Small details don’t really matter
Plasmo: Excuse me?
