Absolutely stunning 😍 watching this has got me buzzing for my trip down to Cornwall next week, hopefully get a day or two like you had up there! Going to get out on the water as much as I can
I’m going to really enjoy rewatching these videos when the cold dark UK nights come rolling around. Great video, hope you managed to trim your misses hedges.
Wow amazing, I've never seen the Irish Sea looking so calm , tranquil and beautiful, it's ashame about the lack of fish . As usual Big up the fire service , you guys do an amazing job , massive respect ✌️💯👨🚒👩🚒
Love the videos, try some little small "sabiki" feathers. Or even some fresh mackerel, squid or worms on the feathers and fish near the bottom somewhere sandy 👍
Try squid or mackerel slices on hooks. You can trawl or use a float and adjust depth. I get squid from a local bait shop. Another option is ragworm. Fish that on the sandy seabed for flatfish mate.
Try some soft plastic lures trolling behind your kayak or under a bubble float. My favourite lures are sunslicker lures who are also based in the IOM. Great lure for Bass.
I feel like you could set up a comedy series purely consisting of fishing 😂 the frustrating thing is you’d probably catch plenty if you weren’t filming lol but defeats the purpose lol. Beautiful place though. Could’nt have hand picked a better spot for a house 😍
I hope you have more luck in your boat looking for sharks than you do when you go fishing , I really do think we have some big sharks in our waters and I hope your search is a successful one 🇬🇧🦈
It looks absolutely lovely, calm clear sea, very good water visibility, would love to see you use the underwater drone a bit more ,very beautiful around isle of man, no wonder why all the motorcyclists and basking sharks keep coming back, great video.
bait fish about , id try feathers , most likely this time of year there should be mackerel (tricky but great fun on a kayak) , or sand eel lures for sea bass. were getting out next week on the yaks off Clogherhead (roughly 100km SW from you) . ill let you know if we are successful.
I have absolutely no doubt, that you've worked for everything you have/ where you are etc. BUT.. lucky bugger still comes to mind. Except for fishing of course!
Stunning conditions another good video, recently bought a wilderness systems 120 kayak similar colour as your kayak. I’ve bought a railblazer boom for my insta360 one x2 yours looks better what are you using? Less movement from it
@@AirbornePirates thank you, I couldn't remember if there was a little fin in between the dorsal and tail. Ive seen them around Pembs before but a long time ago. Loving your videos and can't wait to get home to UK one day soon :)
I was waiting for a Juvenile Great white start cruising ... slowing under your paddle board . That would have been epic..
The anticipation I have for you actually catching a fish is hyped ha ha
It's the fishing which is fun. The catching of the fish is just a bonus. Laxey looks beautiful Say hello to Julie at the cafe.
Catching up on Islander adventures. Enjoyed that little sea paddle. Looked really good. Nice one Matt. ATB
Thanks mate!!

Absolute paradise indeed

Thank you buddy
Look at the scenery! You’re so lucky to have that on your door step. I’d never be in the house 😂
I rarely am, thanks! 🏝

Thanks Dodge! One day I might catch a fish 😂
@@AirbornePirates 😂 🤣 NEVER stop trying , you'll get there in the end bud !!
Damm that water looks inviting! Been 2yrs now since covid been to a beach, still we are Shropshire men mostly so used to the forests.
Your a very lucky man, even with no fish, absolutely stunning surroundings 👌
Stunning!!!
love these videos
Great video 👍👍

Thanks Kon! I’ll give that a go

Top man’ how’s the flying going?

Thanks Paul, appreciate the tip’
You need a fish finder,You see the fish drop your lure .Bingo you have a fish !!
love your videos and way of putting things, you're really handsome too :)
Ha thanks Sam! 😎

It’s becoming a comedy 😂👍
You bumped into big Darren 😎
He was a legend
I think we could see a lot more reports of shark interactions with this heatwave & with more people in the sea.
I hope you have more luck in your boat looking for sharks than you do when you go fishing , I really do think we have some big sharks in our waters and I hope your search is a successful one 🇬🇧🦈
Only one way to find out! Thanks Steve 👌😊

Standby for a future under water drone kayak deployment! Thanks J

Thanks Gdoyle I’ve heard feathers are the way to go! Appreciate the advice

I’m just using the selfie stick but thanks bud I will scope out one of those rail blazers
I always have more luck with lugworms or other live bait. I think the fish smell them unlike spinners etc.
Stunning conditions, but not for fishing. You will crack it soon.
that is sooo flat water :)
I'm no expert, but I think it's wrong time of day, either just after sunrise, or before sunset is best
Head over to Garwick and fish near the yacht bouy.
Cheers bud, who owns this private buoy? Often wondered
@@AirbornePirates the yacht mooring is doi I think!
Great content by the way! Even manxies enjoy it
Islander Outdoors, what do you make of the shark footage from Tenby a few days ago ? to me, the tail looks strange along with its speed...
Hi bud it’s 100% a basking shark I see them here on the island every summer
@@AirbornePirates thank you, I couldn't remember if there was a little fin in between the dorsal and tail. Ive seen them around Pembs before but a long time ago. Loving your videos and can't wait to get home to UK one day soon :)
Any tips, yeah mate you need a bigger boat.
😂👍
The biggest fishing tip I can pass on is catching fish cannot be the goal of you'll land nothing lol
This is excellent advice
@@AirbornePirates hope so because it seems to work for me haha
i think its too flat to get fish :(
