Norway | 2 days in Stavanger

Stavanger has so much to offer visitors, so I will start of by saying that your trip should be at least 3 to 4 days long if you want to including some iconic experiences in the region.
Here are a number of things you can do in and around the city
1. Day trip - Pulpit rock Hike
2. Day trip - kjerag Hike
3. Lysefjord Cruise
4. Harbour Area
5.Gamle Stavanger
6.Petroluem Museum
7.Canning Museum
8.Valberg Tower
9. Fargegaten
10. Sverd i fjell
11.Stavanger Cathedral
12. Other museums
I spent two days and still go to do quite some but I will be heading back to do the first three items on the list hopefully soon

Never been there, but my Grand parents were from Norway. My father was born here. I wonder what the general climate is like over there, and are they getting effects of global warming? People tell me it beauty full over there, but quite expensive! The movie the Vikings, from the 1950s with Toney Cirtice, and Janet Leigh, was filmed at the Stavanger fyourds. sorry for the spelling!

Norway is definitely not one of the cheapest countries to visit in Europe but its beautiful for me especially in summer as I am not too crazy about extreme cold. Cant comment about the climate change as I only visited. You should go some day
