I don’t understand the “revenge” tourism term. It isn’t revenge - it’s just people traveling. Everyone spends their disposable money differently but I’ve never regretted spending any of mine on travel.

As an israeli i thought Revenge tourism was what I did stealing someone's land to take revenge for the hallocost, but then again the person I'm taking revenge on had nothing to do with it

Even Alaskan cruise is cheaper including airfare to Vancouver....why is the great lake cruise so expensive? Don't understand

These Great Lake cruises aren't cheap. It's cheaper to fly to Miami for a Caribbean cruise.
By "revenge tourism", I thought it would be like taking your "friend" to Mexico and they don't come back with you on the return flight.
It is amazing what people will pay to go to places they can drive to.
