Badass Video!!! Keep up the awesome content man, is that a big bite swim bait like you show in your class on LAFB Elite you’re throwing here? Also.....to anyone not familiar with it, LAFB Elite is a TREMENDOUS resource for information and knowledge!

@@LAFishBlog roger that, I couldn’t quite tell. All I know is I’ll be stocking up on craws. We’re heading on a three day trip to the Chandeleur islands the middle of May, trying to learn as much as I can on LAFB Elite before then

But at lest 1 video every week is what we need . You don't want us to forget about you . I know you been busy with the little ones . Waiting for Covid to die out a little before I get back down there. But this is painful to watch you fish while sitting way up here in ATL watching all the action. Thanks for the vid! At least I can be on your boat vicariously! :-)
The storms have me feeling the same way right now. It's kinda warm right now anyway, wait until the river gets lower and the temps drop. It will really turn on then!

The lower unit is rusty in some spots and that bearing on the main shaft will definitely rust out if it's not religiously cleaned out. Like anything, take good care of it and it will be fine.
It's a Tracker, but I wouldn't say it's the best for getting around in the shallow stuff. What's "shallow" anyway? You really don't need to be in less than 2ft to get on good redfish action. I wasn't!
Ha ha ha ha ha I hear that. I'm not sure where you're fishing but in Louisiana you can find ponds 2-4ft deep that are clear all the way to the bottom, or clear enough. Don't really need to get too shallow. The Tracker gets it done, but like any bass boat she stern squats, is ass heavy, etc. A flat boat would probably be a better choice, or something that sits more even in the water, like a Blazer 2420 GTS or Majek Illusion.
I was curious as to why it is a bad sign to see the mullet running from the bank? 14:20 On a different note, have you had a chance to try the Diawa coastal tatula? I have heard good things about it. Tight lines! Keep up the good work.
It's not a bad a sign to see mullet running from the bank. It's a bad sign when that's ALL YOU SEE. Like the pond is infested with them. I chalk it up to low oxygen levels, but I don't know that for a fact, never measured them. Even if there were redfish, they'd be instantly spooked by the 1,439,835 mullet inhabiting every square inch of the pond. The video really doesn't do the phenomenon justice, as they were literally everywhere. It's basically like a gar hole but instead of gar it's mullet. Does that make sense?
@@LAFishBlog Yes, thank you for the clarification. I understand and know what situation you are referring to as well. When i am hunting Redfish and i see bait crazy dense like that it usually means nothing is there to threaten them as well I feel.
@@LAFishBlog I guess your right about how salty our water is here making the bearing difference negligible. Does having aluminum side plates matter that much to the reels then? That would be the only difference i could factor in. The Tatula SV TWS is a great reel in my experience and i figured the coastal version might be a significant upgrade but i didn't really think about the Tatula 150 as an option at all because we are alittle salty waterwise. I guess i need to rethink things before i get a new reel now. I get about 4-5 years out of most reels i use (I fish once a week on average). thoughts? I really appreciate your time and input since i know you get alot more water time then i do. Keep up the great work!

You caught some beautiful fish! Do you find not having the saltwater series trolling motor is a problem or does it hold up to the salt fine!
