As the world champion 2001 of WWF No Mercy I'm very excited to hear this news. Obviously I'm retired now but I'd step back in the ring to see who the greatest is NOW. I mean, I haven't played the game in two decades and my reflexes are shot but I'm pretty sure I'm still the best.
WWF No Mercy's June build was still very much based on Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, if you hack into the other menus on the June build you'll find that a lot of the screens are still using VPW2 assets (btw you left the player options on "1P vs 2P" instead of putting it on "1P vs CPU", which is why the opponents were doing nothing)
