Great vid Daniel 👌 👍 This is exactly the sort of thing I was looking to do. When I do it will be really interesting to compare against your results to see how different feeding and conditions affect the results. It is great to see the verification that there is actually the nutrients in the fert.

Good to see you back. You always make very good and interesting videos. The bio digester fertiliser seems totally viable.
I have all the bits to build my bio digester using the same setup you did in your IBC build video. I've also got 3 beer filters like in the start of this video. On the way from Ali Express is a 220v 20W adjustable gas pump and 3x 12v 100W immersion water heater cartridges. I am thinking of using the 3 immersion heaters in a steel reservoir filled with water and using a 12v 10W pump circulate the heated water around the outside of the IBC in a plastic hose coil. The water will then return to the reservoir. There will be an insulation jacket covering the IBC and water coil. Everything will be run off solar power. What do you reckon on the pumping hot water around the outside of the IBC? It's mainly to keep it simple and also not have to make any extra holes in the IBC.
Cheers from NZ across the ditch.

keep it up my brother, you are gonna make us all millioniares. i would like to know more about the psi acceptable for compression of biogas, i have an air compressor and i dont know if it will work

Waste water conversion 101: You need to add in an oxygenated barrel to the digestive tank setup you have going on to eliminate the anaerobic bacteria and allow aerobic bacteria to develop and finalize the waste water conversion into something safe to be used on any sort of food crops. Just an FYI

Hey Daniel, I get the impression I know you or met you once but will let time unravel that...
Gotta question re Compressor to store the Gas in a tank, I have watche a few videos and wonder what would be the smallest PSI compressor I could use. Space is an issue, so big compressor is out of the question. Any ideas mate Churr

      Refrigerator compressor.
Slow but will do 300 psi no problem

Hey Daniel, ive been following your videos and gpt inspired to set up a difester at my place... have you ever had to deal with excessive foam at the gas outlet? Mine keeps plugging up...

Hey, I purposely made the liquid outlet lower so there is a gap from the top of the water level and tank, I had that issue in my first design, sludge would block the gas pipe.

@@OkAtEverything-ProAtNothing thanks for the response! I figured my issue: I had also added a 500w aquarium heater. Which gets too hot and makes a hot spot that promotes growth of a bacteria that causes foam. Removed the heater and it's golden.
Will need to find a heater solution for later in the year but right now I'm good.
      Thanks again for the response!

Hi! Was the test sample diluted with water in the ratio you'd use in your garden? Or was it pure as it comes out of the digester?

Hows the biogas coming, havent seen any new updates on your system. Its winter here in the united states so my digester is sleeping.

You need to consider that these types of nutrients don’t wash away easily or get locked up. One of the reasons salt nutrients have high ratios is because they get washed away easily and get locked up. Also it’s what’s not in it like nitrate forms of nitrogen that make it good.

My outlet is actually way cleaner due to the multi chamber system.
