I want to say that they do. I know I have, in the past, reported people for animal cruelty but every single time I reported I got the sorry not sorry response and nothing was ever done. I haven't been back in 6+ months. Such a toxic platform.
@Amy Pedrazzi I went through every category, the only options that mention animals either are related to wildlife trafficking or if someone gives instructions on how to carry out criminal activities that harm people or animals. It’s possible it got removed or maybe there are different options depending on the country.
Most of the time it parents doing this getting hamster for their 3 year olds or 7 year olds this annoying Bc hamsters never get that much love just because they are small

I don't think it's so much about the age of the child it's purchased for, but is instead all about the irresponsibility and carelessness of the adult parent. Whether it's for a 5 year old, 7 year old or 12 year old, the parent still needs to maintain involvement to ensure proper care. ❤️
This is so sad. Them blocking you just proves how much they KNOW that they are doing wrong. ☹️ Those poor hamsters deserve so much better. Oh my gosh! The same thing happened to me! I was on my FYP and stumbled across this persons live. I immediately knew it was not okay because i’ve owned pet hamsters before and i’ve done research so I knew this was not okay. I commented multiple times on the live that what was happening was not okay and I got blocked from the live. I was so angry and upset that this happened and annoyed when I got blocked because I called them out. I hope that TikTok does something about this!!😢😢
Tiktok is truly horrifying when it comes to animals... There are SOOO many animal abuse videos that people just laugh at (considering some of them are even pure violence towards the poor beings, worse than this account). I used to see a lot of them when I was still using the app. Obviously I reported them but tiktok apparently always thought they were alright. I will never understand how some creators can be so heartless to do these kinds of things for views.. Thank you for exposing this user👏

yeah, i see so much damn animal abuse on tiktok and i saw a tiktok animal abuse video of a cat, the cat was clearly abused as it was hissing and crying and it had no teeth and it had been declawed (declawing cats is abusive so its illegal in some countries because your basically just removing their fingers) they named it something basic like "funny cat tiktoks" and some random number, maybe i'm wrong and the title was different and they also re-uploaded it to yt shorts and named it "funny angry cat" or something like that. i also saw a yt short of a cat being pushed off a building and it was originally from tiktok because there was a tiktok watermark.
@@VictoriaRaechel for real, youtube can't even determine animal abuse. theres so many cat and dog abuse videos where they are pretending to rescue a "stray cat/dog" even though its not some random stray cat/dog, they probably adopted it then put it on the streets and they put snakes on them and put bricks on them and injured them then recorded themselves "rescuing it" and one of these they didn't even rescue it, the puppy clearly died because it got bit by a snake that a puppy would die a minute after getting bitten by. they showed some footage of it at the vet at the end, but they actually recorded the vet footage before them "finding" the dog. and when they edited the video they made the vet clip to be at the end instead of the start. plus on youtube shorts there was a video called "angry cat" or something like that, it was a cat hissing and meowing angrily and you could tell its teeth was removed, it had no teeth. also it was declawed and declawing is abusive to cats because their claws are basically their fingers, some of the comments were calling it "funny" or "cute" but most of them had a brain and knew this cat was being abused. i reported the video multiple times a year ago, and then some weeks ago i recently discovered the same exact video on the same channel with the same title and ITS STILL UP after a year.
Tik Tok should come up with a mechanism that rewards responsible behavior and turns off funding capabilities for those who are abusing animals. I adore hamsters and I am sure there are creative individuals who could be both humane and entertain other hamster fans.
Victoria, if this is "fun" then please be a "fun killer". There is no need to feel bad about it. People like this are the worst. That account blocked me too a week ago. A robo dwarf was screaming in the livestream and so I needed to spit out that I felt really bad for the poor thing. It was enough to piss the person behind the account off. What makes it more horrible is that they are also profiting off of doing this. Thank you for calling them out.

I tried reporting the account for animal abuse and tiktok said they haven’t violated any community guidelines. I also tried to warn the audience on lives that it wasn’t cute or funny, it’s animals abuse. No surprise, the comment was filtered.
"WHY IS THIS ALLOWED ON TIK TOK???" A question that Tik Tok users have never asked because they at least know what they are watching is mind numbing garbage.

Thank you so much for speaking up about this account! I saw one of their lives on my fyp and decided to join, but I wish I hadn’t. They are so unbelievably rude to their viewers and extremely ignorant when it comes to hamsters and their needs. In my experience someone would call out their disgusting behavior, or simply ask a question such as, “why are there so many hamsters in such a small cage?” then a moderator would mute them and/or the owner would curse them out. I often also see people reposting clips from the lives and them finding it funny, which is sickening. It’s insane how far people will go just for a little bit of clout, even if it means neglecting/abusing an animal.

You are absolutely right. People like this are too far gone to ever improve their care for their pets. It is possible for people to change their care, but people like this only want the money and attention. And the worst part about this in my opinion is that it can influence younger kids as well. Hopefully more people like you can rise up and be an example of what proper hamster care is really like.

I’ve seen these lives, it hurts to see the uneducated laughing and sending money at animal abuse. I’m pretty sure they had newborns in the cage and the guy put them on the wheel, they were getting trampled over by the older ones and kept getting flung across the cage, hope that guy stops and gets his account banned.

This is the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Like other people have said if those kind of videos were of cats and dog people would be horrified but no because “hamsters are toys” or “hamsters are small so they don’t matter” no one cares. I hope this changes soon💔
A while back I came across a similar channel here on RUclips. To sum it up, it was probably 10+ hamsters crammed into a small cage with sunflower shells, hamster poop, and pee as the bedding while he filmed one of them giving birth. Other hamsters would come around, sniff the baby, maybe lick it and run off. You’d think there’s no way any survived, but looking at the channel, you can see he’s a breeder😞 I can’t honestly can’t see how any of them have survived…

I've seen hamster videos on twitter that stress me out as a ham owner, and the comments infuriate me lol. "Haha that's cute," when it's a video of a hamster actually stressed out. 😭 I also can't stand when I see ham cages/tanks with a smidgen of hay. At least give them enough to bury in! Why do people gotta treat our lil rodent pals like this...I feel like part of it is ignorance and part of it is not giving a flying heck. -_-
Another issue these types of videos create is that young kids who don't know any better see these and get the wrong idea about the animal and it's care. Like with the hamsters flying off the wheels, it is portrayed as something the hamster actually has fun doing. Like those goldfish videos were they put them in shallow puddles with toys or drive them around in the backs of rc cars. It makes them seem more like toys without feelings.
My hamster used to spin in her wheel. I was trying to search up why but then people were posting stuff like " funny hamster spins in wheel" or " hamster spinning in wheel 😂" and I was like- no it's not funny i want to know why! But now i have a larger wheel for Miso and she isnt spinning at all! 😊
This care is unacceptable! Like, I know that my care really could be better, and I am working on it, but in the meantime I do as much as I can to have a happy hammy. This person clearly just doesn't care.😞😥😞

Also the whole apples in the cage. Sadly that is how my very first hamster as a kid passed, apple seeds are EXTREMELY toxic to hamsters and you should never ever never put a whole apple in the cage they are full of sugar and the seeds are toxic

pet stores market hamsters as toys and the parents are clueless so they just go and buy a hamster without knowing a thing

I’ve reported them on multiple accounts & tiktok always says nothing is wrong with his content.. I’ve made my own tiktoks talking about his abuse & they were taken down within days..
And I see people laughing a giving gifts to them. People don’t see hamsters as pets. They see them as toys. 😞
One of their streams says any "gifts" they receive during the live will go towards buying more hamsters and more supplies- as If they need anymore hamsters.

I reported several times on an account on youtube that only use pet hamsters to feed the frogs, and sadly, after several months, this account is still on youtube.
I cannot believe that since tiktok is such a well known and big company that they wouldn’t have a report option for animal abuse. What world do we live in now where that stuff is ok?!

This is the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Like other people have said if those kind of videos were of cats and dog people would be horrified but no because “hamsters are toys” or “hamsters are small so they don’t matter” no one cares. I hope this changes soon💔
i'm horrified by dog abuse, cat abuse, hamster abuse, bird abuse, etc. even though the only pets i ever owned are cats.

A while back I came across a similar channel here on RUclips. To sum it up, it was probably 10+ hamsters crammed into a small cage with sunflower shells, hamster poop, and pee as the bedding while he filmed one of them giving birth. Other hamsters would come around, sniff the baby, maybe lick it and run off. You’d think there’s no way any survived, but looking at the channel, you can see he’s a breeder😞 I can’t honestly can’t see how any of them have survived…
So upsetting, sweet little fluff balls deserve all the love and proper care too!

That's sad. Tik tok is kind of sad though.There's a lot of youtube videos I can't bear to see,involving live feeding with snakes and lizards,which I get is a part of life but don't feel it should be broadcast, and celebrated online at all. All animal companions should be respected ❤

he’s disgusting. i watched a video of him putting baby hamsters, BABY hamsters, they look like they’ve only just grown there fur and he put them all onto the wheel and the grown hamsters were running on it and the poor things flew off.

Omg! This hearts my heart. I’ve owned hamsters for 3 years now and I’m so grateful that I found Tori’s channel immediately after I got my first hamster, now watching these videos makes me want to vomit. 💔😔

I hate it when rodents get treated like nothing. I have a hammy and 2 rats and when people come over they treat them like a disease. It kinda hurts me sometimes because they're my beloved pets and you wouldn't talk about a dog or a cat like that :/

These days I am reporting so much animal abuse video but I sadly have the impression that I am the only one who think that it's not funny. When I watched this video I was like "Finally someone. who doesn't think that's hilarious!". I really hope that together we can delete this account and the others ones!

I've seen hamster videos on twitter that stress me out as a ham owner, and the comments infuriate me lol. "Haha that's cute," when it's a video of a hamster actually stressed out. 😭 I also can't stand when I see ham cages/tanks with a smidgen of hay. At least give them enough to bury in! Why do people gotta treat our lil rodent pals like this...I feel like part of it is ignorance and part of it is not giving a flying heck. -_-

Another issue these types of videos create is that young kids who don't know any better see these and get the wrong idea about the animal and it's care. Like with the hamsters flying off the wheels, it is portrayed as something the hamster actually has fun doing.
Like those goldfish videos were they put them in shallow puddles with toys or drive them around in the backs of rc cars. It makes them seem more like toys without feelings.
My hamster used to spin in her wheel. I was trying to search up why but then people were posting stuff like " funny hamster spins in wheel" or " hamster spinning in wheel 😂" and I was like- no it's not funny i want to know why! But now i have a larger wheel for Miso and she isnt spinning at all! 😊
This care is unacceptable! Like, I know that my care really could be better, and I am working on it, but in the meantime I do as much as I can to have a happy hammy. This person clearly just doesn't care.😞😥😞

Also the whole apples in the cage. Sadly that is how my very first hamster as a kid passed, apple seeds are EXTREMELY toxic to hamsters and you should never ever never put a whole apple in the cage they are full of sugar and the seeds are toxic
