This was written by Chris Martin for his then wife, Gwyneth Paltrow when her father passed. Chris has also stated that this song helped the band through a tough time as well, as some frustration was building between members. The fact that they have been around since 1999 means they’ve navigated through some tough times.
It’s also fun to watch Chris dance, as he’s not the most coordinated, and has tripped himself up a number of times.
He puts forth 100% effort, and is loved for it.
If I should win the lottery, you 3 deserve a concert, so I’ll keep you posted.
Dr Pepper is a nectar from the Gods. I taught biology, and kids bought me cases of Dr Pepper at Christmas. It became the Great Wall of Pepper, and it was added to the rest of the yr. Loved those kiddos.
I went to this exact concert and I can say with confidence: if you have the opportunity to go to one of their shows, go. It's the best concert experience today. Nothing beats what they promote.

@@user-iy2dv3ly9t It was an absurd show! It was basically the same show they did at Maracanã in Rio, where I'm from, but I went anyway because I'm a big fan. I expected them to play "Hypnotised," but they didn't. Even so, they gave me the feeling of waiting for the reaction of others to the surprises they had, and even though I already knew they would happen, it was still surreal. Best concert in the world!

Me and my father went to our first Coldplay concert for the A Head Full Of Dreams tour at Wembley stadium in 2016. If I remember correctly it was Father’s Day in the UK it was amazing and we said we would do it again next time they toured but sadly that never happened as he died from COVID-19 in the first wave of 2020.

The concert was in Brasilia. They performend in this stadium several times in a row and it was always sold out. My first concert of them was in 2017 at the same tour (A Head full of Dreams Tour). There concerts are very special and a changing experience. Another good song of them is A Head Full of Dreams live in Sao Paulo. This song was the Tour opener and there you can see and feel the pure joy that everyone has. ☺️
The interaction with the crowd is always there. At the current tour they invite 1-3 fans to join chris martin (lead singer) on stage and he plays a song for them.

Yes, I believe you should watch the official video in comparison. Fix You is from their second album, I think, and they have gone through several transitions personally, stylistically and musically since then. However, you always know right away it's Coldplay, whenever you hear a new song. They just have their own distinctive sound not to mention Chris' voice.

My senior year of high school, we had 4 students and 2 teachers die. One of those students was a senior died driving to school on a two hour weather delay. He hit black ice going down a steep hill in town and hit a tree if I remember correctly. He fought like hell for several days before he succumbed to his injuries. We had a big school assembly a couple months after his death to mourn our fellow students and the teachers who had died. One teacher had actually died shortly after the car wreck by unaliving himself (unrelated to the wreck). Sadly we had one more senior pass after the assembly a month before graduation, she died from CF. But the kid who died in the wreck had a sister who was like a freshman or sophomore and she sang this song for her brother and there wasn't a dry eye on that field. Its been 12 years, I'm 30 and it's still hard to wrap my head around how many years have past yet my peers who passed my last year of high school are still forever 18.
Suggestions? - Where do I start. You would like a ton of Coldplay songs. Sky Full of Stars. Amazing Day. Viva La Vida. Life In Technicolor. Adventure of a Lifetime. - You would love all of those, live or studio. One of the other reasons that I like Coldplay is because they do really well live.
First of all, you 3 are adorable. :) Secondly, that's 50,000 people that weren't born into speaking English singing in English. This is the most powerful and best band in the world, in my opinion. They are also my favorite band. Some of the reason that I like them so much is because they are all really nice people. I tend to like genuinely nice people quite a bit. The lead singer's name is Chris Martin. I have seen him serving food for hours in a "soup kitchen". I have seen him spend all day at a children's cancer ward. I have seen 90% of the interviews that he has ever done. - The guy is a fing angel, and I really respect that. I'm not saying that he doesn't have flaws as a person; just that he tries to do some good with his fame and fortune. I know that he doesn't want the job, but if Chris Martin ran for President of the USA he would have my vote immediately.
Makes me feel like living in the 80's with bands like Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, U2, Police... not to forget Bryan Adams,

Great reaction as usual, regarding the concerts , it is really hard to get tickets, the stadiums can't have more than 100k but ppl in the virtual queue once it is open for tickets are minimum 400k. Then it depends on how many shows they will do for that same city
You really should make a point to get to one of their performances. They're indescribable. Unforgettable. I'm 66 and have been to more than a few concerts over the years, but none comparable to Coldplay. They're pricey affairs (but what isn't on the concert scene these days?), but totally worth it. You won't regret it.

I hope you three *do* go and see Coldplay when and if you can. I can say that anecdotally, they were one the best bands I've ever seen live, and the crowd, oh my, the crowd.. The Coldplay audience is the best, most loving, and happy and amazing crowd I've ever been in!

Ok girls,your doing well… but think you need to go to the start of Coldplay, a beautiful love song, their first Hit, Yellow. Why yellow, yellow is a happy colour, the colour of the sun, we have a very old song in UK, you are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey…… etc etc. anyway the band was very young, the video was booked, Will the drummers Mum died, so Chris did the video by himself as they were all devastated, simple and beautiful song, been my band ever since I heard this song when drive home from work
