Song of the day: Tall Boy - The Stäbs
Song of the day- Every Time I Look At You
By KISS
In honor of a memory I have of swiping one of my sisters mixed tapes and hearing that song in the early 90’s. Didn’t actually find out it was a KISS song until I was an adult😂

VINLYS TPAES ARE TRASH
CDS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>TAPES AND VINLYS
I just bought 2. One for my wife and one for myself.
I can’t wait to get it and start making mix tapes again.
A very cool product.
How is it working now ? Good condition or a potato ??
What i would love to see is the return of The Cassette Decks! a high quality device ready to record and experience again the super analog quality sound people used to listen in the 80s and 90s. I would buy it right away! Long live to Analog!!!!
They make them! I have a dual cassette deck that is awesome!
I would love to buy a good deck that can record to the major cassette types and utilize dolby noise reduction.
@@thatonedude1003make and model?
@@thatonedude1003 No they don't. Tascam/TEAC make a fairly expensive dual deck that looks good but is still not anywhere near as good a budget double deck from the 80s/90s. It has NO Dolby Noise Reduction, it cannot record on Metal tapes only on standard Ferric tapes, it uses the same Tanashin knock off mechanisms that the even cheaper decks also use, although Tascam did use a metal flywheel instead of plastic, not sure if that's still the case with the latest model. All of the other dual decks from Marantz/Pyle etc. are all pretty much identical and even less well built than the Tascam.
Absolutely NO ONE makes a high quality dual deck with Dolby B/C noise reduction and HX Pro with an electro magnet erase head.
I think.... (as cassette decks are made even today, albeit not with the quality as before) what you need is... Metal tapes combined with Dolby C - S and a real refurbished old hifi deck.... Those techs really created a sound that could host a good CD recording with very little loss....
Its a novelty only, a proper Sony Walkman will outperform this for sure (a serviced one)... The Bluetooth function is a good addon, its interesting. Anyway its a good thing that someone had the idea to build one and sell it, but with that kind of money you can still get a real walkman. Great Video!
Outperform in what way? Just curious
i think this is a nice first step and i hope they can improve on this design in the future
Indeed, for that money you can buy a good high end walkman. I still have three of them in good shape and many other low end.
Great review. I agree 100% that the battery is a major shortcoming of this device. Built in batteries = built in obsolecense. Why can't these companies make devices with removeable batteries, like most camera companies? Wouldn't it be nice to alternate lithium batteries that you can plug into a separate recharger?
The functionality and build of the device seem to be good, and playing all types of tapes is excellent. That means the mixed tapes I made on CR02 cassettes in 1993 will sound just great I hope.
I expect the wow and flutter is only mediocre, because it uses the same cheap Tanashin clone chinesium mech as all the others, as that's all that's been made now. Also it's permanent magnet erase, rather than AC, which is not so good either. Main problem with that, the tape becomes strongly magnetised, which does increase the noise significantly in the recording, as well as causing distortion. Whereas with an AC driven real erase head, it's completely degaussed. It wouldn't surprise me if this thing was DC bias as well, rather than AC bias, which makes the recording quality even worse.
Although it can play all cassette types, it can only record correctly to type-1 ferro tapes. Because it doesn't have a chrome or metal bias position.
It's overpriced re-skinned junk for hipsters. Nothing more, nothing less.
It reminds me of the cheap Walkman I had in the mid and late 80s. It used to play my cassettes too fast, and I had to jam paper in the belt clip to correct that pitch issue if I remember correctly.
@@erikmolnar6585I used to call those monstrosities clunkers.
Agreed, I was quite disappointed that it was largely ignored in the video
It's interesting that the pencil comes together in the box! It reminds me of the old days when I used to record music on cassette tapes.
well, that pencil is a lot thicker then standard pencils, even in the days a pencil was not good for winding cassettes, the finger where better...
Techmoan's video revealed this is just a cheap Tanashin mechanism in a fancy shell. It's the exact same mechanism you get in every cheap nasty tape player.
It's not even a Tanashin, as they stopped making cassette mechs over a decade ago. It's just a cheap chinesium clone of a Tanashin. It's got the exact same blue plastic permanent magnet erase as all the others, which makes recording not very good and noisy.
It’s not the same. Plus the new units have been redesigned.
Chill out
Good video again, hello from England. This is a modern take on a once mighty format.I seriously cannot see a sort of revival of compact tapes like the vinyl revival . Question one, genuinely, where do you get blank Type II tapes from? They are the only ones worth using for recording. I would image that the cost of D0bbin B and C noise reduction licensing was too great. Tape transport choice is minimal. No one is making a quality separate deck, belts on old decks wear out etc etc BUT if you want one, get one! That’s what I have learned in 40 years of Hifi. If you will enjoy something, buy it, regardless of what others say, and that is why your reviews are good because you say what things do!
Here here! I am a HiFi buff from 1978 and have been thru so many cassette decks and BIC pens, Pinch rollers and capstans but I still love this gadget!
A few answers. 1. Type II (chrome) and IV (metal) tapes are no longer being produced for environmental/waste disposal issues. I think there are a few tape manufacturers that make a replacement type II tape, but it's not specifically chrome. 2. Dolby no longer licenses Dolby B or C to manufacturers, so if there is a form of NR it's self made version. 3. If you just want to play some old tapes with some of todays conveniences this should do the trick, but if you are a collector of tapes and care about their condition, I would buy a quality, serviced, used cassette deck. Cheers everyone.
Fun to have tape cassette player in 2023. Very much loved my Sony sport Walkman back in the 90s. I did have earlier portable cassette players but can't remember what they were😂
I own Sony XM4 and it works great with my Audio Technica LP60XBT turntable. Good to see a cassette player which has a bluetooth feature too!
that's literally my setup too 😅
I was thinking of mounting one of these in the dash of my Camaro in a 3d printed housing, that way I can use cassettes with my aftermarket radio
Superbe video! I armed amplifiers radios etc using tubos in the 50s and with transistors in the 60s. I love that so young people as you are adore what I have been doing for almost 70 years. Cheers from Patagonia Argentina
Cassettes never should have gone away.
Expensive especially as the actual mechanism will be that cheap type..they use in all today's cassette players.
Very cool! I’d love to see tapes make a comeback large scale..of course I’d like to see mini discs come back too lol..still despite’s it’s cons I think this is a pretty neat item.
my cassette player just broke, so... I might buy this right off the bat. this looks like a quality product.
Hey man, Before you buy one of these cassette players you may want to look at Teachmoan's review of this device as well.
long story short it is the same mechanism that is being used for every cassette deck that is being released these days and is pretty low quality.
I might get one of these tape decks for the aesthetic alone though 😋
@@lennonnicolas5994yeah, when i heard that they sent him this, i expected the review to be biased and it def is
For the same price as this, and probably even lower, you can find a pretty high quality used cassette deck that's gonna sound much better and have more features.
everyone thank you for your replies, i'll think again!
@@lennonnicolas5994 what cassette player would you suggest looking into?? I’ve been collecting cassettes for a few years, a lot of the cassette players I’m finding have bad sound quality and eat cassettes, I’ve some cassettes that are a bit precious to me and I’m worried to even play them. I have the QFX retro-39 and it’s not good quality at all. I’d happily pay around £150 for a solid device that will last, plus I’d love one that records (and Bluetooth would be amazing but that might be pushing it)
looks great for 2023, however they should have allowed the batteries to be standard AA's.
That's terrible for the environment and your wallet. Rechargeable AA's are better but they have much worse capacity. This is better than both options.
Maybe you were lucky, but many people have reported high levels of hiss and noise past a low volume. For that price and even lower, it's pretty easy to find a used high quality full cassette deck that's gonna sound much better and have more features.
Very interesting to buy this one, the little bad thing was the price. I wish it had a better battery for that price
I got one! Can’t wait to use it!
Serge: Serge Gainsbourg
Kurt: Kurt Cobain
Keith: Keith Jarrett (or Keith Richards)
Enjoy your new player.
Hello! Great video! I want to record my own Ambient music tracks out from Ableton and my OP-1 into the Rewind to add analog warmth to the digital sound. This should work just fine with this Cassette Player, right? Greets from Austria, M.
Loving the Ex:Re record on display in the background! (Oh, and for song of the day: 'Mt. Washington' by Local Natives)
How do you pair this to a CXA81 (Cambridge Audio) receiver? It has Bluetooth but does not seem to pair….thank you!
while i think this review isn't necessarily deceptive, it is certainly biased on account of the fact that he was sent this cassette player directly. the audio quality sounding "fantastic" goes against the many other reviews of people complaining about hum, poor bias detection, and wow/flutter. it seems like he wasn't able to articulate anything about the sound other than that it provides that "warm analogue sound we love about cassettes" (a mind boggling statement to make regardless). this is especially suspicious that we receive absolutely demonstrations about how this cassette player actually sounds.
i think it is fine if jared here likes the cassette player, that is a valid opinion. but please watch other reviews by people who don't have such a conflict of interest before deciding to buy one.
Excellent review. I strong agree with you about the non-replaceable rechargeable battery. There is no reason for them to not to use AA batteries and design it to operate using rechargeable batteries if you choose. I used a portable CD player and did that for years, with the advantage that if the batteries are discharged and I'm out and about I can just buy a set of AAs and use them.
I like the look of the unit, something plain and simple, although I'm not sold on the recording aspect. I'd rather they made it a play-only unit, and leave the recording to a tape deck.
While this is a decent player....I'll stick with my now ancient JVC auto reverse full logic deck I use whenever I get the urge to play my equally ancient cassette tapes. They both still work flawlessly and sound sooooo good 😊 Thanks for letting us know that there are still some companies out there that make these players with a quality build, they are getting harder and harder to find!
I love old technology coming from the 80s generation I still want to get my hands on some good 8 track player to add to my hifi system have a record player cassette player and a cd player just need some of the good old technology
It's a step in the right direction, but they're stuck with the poor mechanism that is available today; the wow and flutter spec is ten times worse than that of my 1990s cassette deck. Three things are needed - decent mechanisms, _decent_ new type 2 & 4 tapes, Dolby to be persuaded to licence their noise reduction systems again. However, the fact that this is well built means that cassettes are possibly being taken a little more seriously again, so here's hoping. I'm not a fan of inbuilt batteries and would rather it was powered by AAs. I recently bought an electric toothbrush and had a choice from the same manufacturer of inbuilt or AAs; the AA version was 1/3 of the price and I simply use eneloop rechargeables in it which last for months. Overall though, good to see some more impressive cassette players appearing.
To anyone age 50+, these reviews of "new cassette player!" "new boombox!", etc. are quite laughable. All these things would have been absolute bottom-of-the-range rubbish in the days of high quality Sony/Aiwa/etc. cassette players. Certainly they wouldn't have been worthy of a review in a hifi magazine! I get it, you can only review what's available these days, but my god, this modern Chinese junk is embarrassing. Once upon a time, we had features like amorphous heads, Dolby B/C, Quartz Lock, Cr02/Metal EQ, good battery life...yes, these were the higher -end models, but even the "average" models had basics like servo-controlled motors (to avoid slow speed as the batteries drained) , fairly well made mechanisms, and Dolby B. Well, there's virtually zero chance of Dolby ever appearing on a cassette deck again, unless Dolby themselves do a 180 on their decision to end licensing of their NR systems, companies that were once top-of-the-line in these things (Aiwa, for example) no longer exist, Sony aren't interested in "the past", and I don't see any Japanese company getting on board with this revival fad. Cassettes, I'm afraid, are now in the hands of the Chinese, and their only goal with this stuff seems to be to make and sell them as cheaply as possible. Jared, try a Sony DC2 walkman (once you've fixed it's center gear, which will, sadly, have cracked by now!), and then tell me, honestly, how great this "We Are Rewind" thing actually sounds. The DC2, with a good quality tape, and the amazing headphones it was supplied with (MDR-51), sounded virtually as good as a CD. Even Sanyo made some super-nice personal stereos back in the mid-80s. We certainly have regressed when it comes to analog audio devices. All the progress that was made over the heyday of cassettes has been thrown away, and we're essentially back in 1976 with a Bluetooth chip tacked-on. It's all a bit sad to those of us who remember "the good old days"!
Most walkmans barely even work anymore, cause they’re old.
If they bring out decent cassette players I’m planning to go back to cassettes
@@spinny369 true, but it's usually nothing more than a drive belt replacement to get it going again. Same applies to literally anything that used rubber drive belts 🤷♂️
@@BillBiggs1 won't happen, mate. The "quality" manufacturers aren't interested in resurrecting the format. Just find a reasonably late-model Japanese deck in good condition - it'll be far better than anything that will ever be produced now or in the future.
@@njm1971nyc That sucks.
One thing I've noticed with certain devices with built in 3.7V batteries is that the battery is what actually powers the device, and 5V USB port only charges the battery. This means that once the battery goes flat, the USB charging port won't be able to supply power to the device itself, as its only purpose is to charge the battery. I've seen this behavior in bluetooth speakers, old MP3 players and that sort of thing. Batteries of this type should be readily available, but when in desperate need, one workaround hack would be to find a DC adapter that supplies roughly 3.7V and wire in a matching jack where the battery was, but sometimes this can introduce hum and other noise.
It's probably got Tanashin or clone mechanism which aren't that great to be honest.
Amazing device, especially if it allows you to rip the tunes off. I have a cassette tape collection from the 1980s, still preserved and love those cassettes. I still collect CDs though and so enjoy preserving "my music", but I listen to the files digitally, and send them off for playing via bluetooth. Where can you buy cassette music?
Why can’t anyone license the Walkman mechanism & circuitry from Sony? All of the engineering and refinement was done decades ago to provide a top notch product. This new player on offer here is like reinventing the wheel, starting at a primitive level, rather than leveraging prior technology. A non-sensical step backwards as if we experienced an EMP or other global catastrophe and had to start designs from scratch. Better to build on the shoulders of giants.
Amazing review , I just ordered one ! Just one question would it pair with air buds ?
With all the amazing technology advancements nowadays companies could make some amazing Tape players/recorders & records decks to :( Like that Bluetooth features on that Tape player :P + I wish SONY would do a new Tape deck + CD deck to. Oh well, COOL video ;)
very good review, you showed the different types of cassette that it can play, but you did not report the frequency responses or WOW and flutter.
Visibly a tanashin mechanism. But it seems to have a metal flywheel which can decrease the flutter these mechanisms have I don't know about speed regulation though. It might even have a better head and today's modern processing. But judging by the written specs, still not as good as an old mid-range HiFi deck(1988-1999) that you can get for 60$ used in perfect condition.
Love that someone tried but for that price to not have AM/FM radio is a deal breaker for me. With many artists now releasing their new music on cassettes again let's hope that Sony decides to make a Bluetooth/rechargeable battery powered Walkman.
For a cassette player to play different tape types - it should have some form of bias control, either automatic or manual. Bias is all to do with different tape types, and whether they recorded sound sounds with too much of a bass response or too sharp with too much of a treble response., you need automatic selection of bias to get into the ballpark and then a manual dial for fine-tuning it.
While I preciate the effort of the French to carry on the torch, I am shocked at how clunky this things looks. Jony Ive, if he had any hair left to spare, would go bold in a second if he had to review the design. It's just an oversized box. Compare that to the Sony Walkmen from the early 90s. Still got three of those. They still function, albeit they all run with different speeds. But 30+ years later, they still operate - and you can replace the batteries straightaway. My WM EX 50 purrs like a cat and looks like a Lambo compared to this metal box. They have to bring the size way down and reshape it.
i think a great way to imrove on this thing in the future would be to have the battery compartment modular, so you can have a lithium ion battery mudual like it does atm, but also the option to slot in a classic AA battery compartment. This would not only make it easier to just switch the standard rechargable battery once its dead it would also allow this device to be future proof in case the mamufacturer stops producing parts for it
Wish i had it. At the local Goodwill i found pre- record tapes that were not even open. And that 3.5 cable works great on my Sony reciever
Awesome!
I believe the color names is a reference to different musicians Kurt being Kurt Cobain
I sold hi-fi back in the 70's and early 80's. I was seriously into cassette in that I would record my albums onto tape and then preserve the albums by listening to the tapes. My two best decks were a Nakamichi and a Denon. I only bought one prerecorded tape and tossed it into a ditch on the road somewhere. Sound quality sucked.
Fast forward to about 15 years ago and I noticed that garage sales and estate sales were giving away, or virtually giving away cassette tapes. I bought over a thousand of them. 3/4 are pre-recorded and I learned that they got better over time. I also ended up with a fair number of NOS bricks of type 1 blanks.
All these tapes got me to look for vintage portable walkman style players and I ended up with five or six of them. Some with built in FM radio and some also with Dolby, auto reverse, etc., though none of them record. Using the 1/8 inch aux input in my car, I'd often play tapes in my car just for the experience. It is a lot of fun, actually. Brings back huge memories. This deck brings modern convenience to the whole experience. But to be clear, if sound quality is your main concern, Cassettes are not the answer. That's not their primary function, though.
Good to see finally a good Walkman type player but 1bad thing is you can’t open it up and change the belts or battery.
Yes. I will buy if they decide to do one version with replaceable battery.
Cons: no bass or treble control or graphic equalizer. Does not auto-reverse.
As a collector of cassette players new and old…I will have to grab one of these for sure.
Side note…I have a limited edition Walkman that Daniel Johns from Silverchair just put out…it is transparent, Bluetooth, and plays well. Check it out!!
Hello dude! I just recently started a tape collection. And I am looking for somthing that I can play tapes over bluetooth pairing, first and foremost. Secondarily I'd like to digitize or convert tapes to an audio file. What are my options? All I've found are the 30 dollar ones on Amazon that many people seem to dislike and the one featured here on thus video. Do you have any recommendations for me? Thanks Dude!
@@jacobsmith7102 Hey there Jacob. Not sure there are a a whole bunch made for playing a tape and transmitting it via Bluetooth…but I will check and respond to you on this thread. For starters…grab a few of the cool players out now to at least enjoy the tapes. On EBay and at thrift shops I have found a ton of retro players for SUPER cheap that play my cassettes beautifully. I have a few players that play cassettes…and also will Bluetooth in your “phone’s” music to their built in speakers…but as for playing from a device to your Bluetooth speaker…I only have the limited edition Walkman from Daniel Johns (of Silverchair). I am curious as to what exists to play a cassette into a speaker via Bluetooth…so I will investigate and get back to you!
I did end up getting the Rewind. A bit disappointed it doesn't pair to my vehicle but hey, the aux cord works! And I haven't figured out how to create digital audio files on my Mac. Either I'm just getting older or this stuff used to be way easier back in the day
I love how while I’m watching this I’m making a mix tape
Sounds really convincing. What me interests is how to change the rubber belts…. In some years.
Can I pair this to my vehicle Bluetooth or must I use AUX cable?
I got one of these "We Are Rewind" player/recorders. I'm rather fond of it.
I understand that it uses a common cassette mech that is used in other products. What is it?
Thanks, and keep up the great job with your videos.
Nobody has made good tape players for years. Always cheap shoddy mechanisms. I am not convinced
Im not into built in batteries...they fail sometimes b4 the product gets old...
I’m doing good hope your doing good as well love watching your videos my friend
Does it play type III? Technically no. Type III would require FeCr manual switch (or treble control) to play correctly.
Does it record all tape types? Definitely no. As the unit does not have a detector for metal type tapes it would not record to them correctly. It _may_ correctly set the bias for type II cassettes, but there is nothing in the literature online to indicate that is the case.
Getting 2 players.. ❤
Oddly the wireless retro headphones they bundle with the player are way too low. The sound volume was not even at a mid level. It was just horribly low. I tried another wireless headset, same thing. I asked for a replacement player and same thing. I did try my Sony headphones and they were a lot louder. So I will try some of the headphones you mention. Thanks.
It most likely has noise reduction built into the (modern) sound processing chip and that's why it sounds good across tape types, it just doesn't have an external noise reduction button or switch.
It simply doesn´t have any noise reduction built in.
That´s not how it works at all. (dolby) noise reduction has to be encoded while recording and also at playback.
You also must use the same dolby noise reduction system in both cases.
You cannot play a dolby c tape using dolby b, there will be audio but it will sound terrible.
I have a lot of Tapes myself. but, There are a few that are not even a Type one tape. the Tapes are just that old!
Hi Vinyl Eyezz
Can you Bluetooth the cassette player to Bluetooth speaker ?
*Battery dies*
Me and my expirence from watching it on youtube "I'm an engineer, that means I solve problems"
Great synopsis. Interesting that it does not have an Auto Reverse function either. I am curious to see how this product may evolve and adjust as feedback like your video and others are provided.
Quite frankly I wouldn't expect to see fancy features like Auto-Reverse in a brand new cassette these days. Simply because no company in China is making auto-reverse cassette mechs now. Same with Dolby noise reduction(Dolby Labs Inc no longer licenses it), or recording to metal tape(metal bias capable heads are no longer manufactured). If done properly these things might play your tapes with a rather mediocre 0.5% wow and flutter, which to me is very noticeable. It's not like back in the day of high quality direct drive cassette mechs, that could do 0.05% or lower wow and flutter. All you get now is a cheap chinesium motor driving a rubber belt to a lightweight plastic flywheel, and good luck with that.
But at least this one is STEREO, unlike many of the others that are only MONO.
@@michaelturner4457 Good point. Glad I held onto a few of my original Walkmans then.
Nice video!
Serge Gainsbourg. Kurt Cobain. Keith Richards. Possibly their style muses?
Song of the day: portrait of a blank slate - lovejoy?? (Ik the singer is a streamer, but it’s just such a good song)
Can this be connected to active speakers and be used as tape player system?
I’m sure we are rewind functions awesomely but I’ll stick with my first love, the Sony WM II. The most beautiful cassette Walkman ever made !
Being rather bulky and having those sharp edges this needs to have a nice case and shoulder strap, if not included at least as an option. The battery is a drawback, and I would prefer a removable/replaceable that can charge inside the unit. If it's not a three head deck you can't listen to the recording straight off the tape. I'm wondering who makes the tape mechanism, is it a mediocre Chinese clone? I think it's not that bad a price for the construction, if it holds up. I am tempted.
Very interesting product. I still have tapes but no player, this might be the item for me.
I own the Walkman WM-EX521. It has a latch for auto tape type detection. Another important thing I would miss on this player.
Have you done any reviews on the reasonably priced portables on Amazon? I really have no desire to spend more than $30 or so on this type of item. Curious what your reviews are on them.
Delvon Lamarr Trio! Where did you get a tape of that? The frequency range looks pretty bad. Is 12.5khz normal for a portable device?
Hi, thanks for the test, Im french and I think the name of colour is for artiste name: serge Gainsbourg, Kurt Cobain and Keith Richards. Name of Kurt and Keith are not use for people here and Serge is a old name for us.
Song of the Day: Shape of my Heart - Sting
I'd love to see a review of the Ninmlabs second gen of portable cassette players, I've seen plenty of reviews of the first gen saying they're more aesthetics then sound/build quality but none of the second gens
I have a few questions.
1 when you said it plays other types. Does this mean when you put in a chrome or metal tape. The player will automatically select to play that type of tape setting like the tape deck. (I can clarify this question if you don't understand what I'm saying.
2 on Bluetooth, is there a hiss feedback in the blank space of the tape like those cheap portable players?
Thanks
I have audio book cassettes, can I play them on the new portable cassette players? or are they designed for something else, these new cassette players.
I have the CaseLogic version that I bought back in the day that holds 100 cassettes each, have 3 of them and they cost 9.99 each - still looking for a solution for my 200+ cassette singles since they don't fit well in the cassette shelf - use cardboard boxes but would love a solution if you have seen something.
Even records it's cool
Does it records a Sony Ux 60 Chrome 2 ?
Great Video! My song of the day is Chiquitita by ABBA!
I want one to record my mixes at the club
When he lifted up that monstrous ugly brick, I laughed my ass off. They were a quarter the size 25 years ago and sounded much better.I'd never be caught with one of those without feeling absolutely stupid.
😂 You need a backpack to carry this thing!
We are going backwards in all sense of the word.
Hey, how do i demagnitize these player?
2:28 That's not how I use a pencil/BIC with tapes; I put the tape on the pencil/pen and spin it like a noise-make. 😀
I have a Sony WM-D6C and everything included! It is in really good State. Anybody interested?
Except for the bit sneaky non removable 18650 battery the rest is fine.
I just got mine and love it as you do. I paired with my Klipsch powered monitors and it sounds awesome. Am surprised the company and reviewers only focus on headphones for playback. Which is understandable since that's what most people use. But I think it should be noted that the player will pair or go directly into external speakers and sound really surprisingly good!
THE PENCIL, I CAN'T 😆
7:43 omg I remember brainscan lol.
This is new? I could have sworn that they announced this like 2 years ago. Also, why is it so bulky? thing looks like a cassette player from the '70s.
Does it use the generic cheap mechanism that is the only one still in production or is it a custom one?
Japanese pencils are the correct size to use for getting rid of the slack.
whats the quality of the cassette playback head? is it a cheap asain left over? cause i believe 1 company is making cheap cassette systems/
what tape mechanism does it use and it is the one that most use today
Does it have a real Mabuchi motor?
