Can’t wait to hear wht you think of it, Isabel. It’s a bit unusual and I think suffers from a name “Ajo Blanco” meaning white garlic that might put people off…like the name “catifsh” for a really great species of fish! Good luck with it and cheers, Caroline

You’re inspiring me more to try Mediterranean. My only hold back is to love beans, I’m not a big bean person so trying to figure how to incorporate them with recipes that I might like is key.

Hi Amber! Thanks so much for your comment and good luck with finding new ways to love beans. I have three suggestions of other videos on my channel, the butter bean with tomato recipe , the cannellini bean recipe with 3 sauces (a bit complicated but totally worth it, and the beans from the pork and beans recipe is a recipe that George makes fairly often when he’s at the farm and I’m in the city (but ha ha, he has to watch my video to remember how so I get more views from my own backyard!). And I was sincere in my mention that I hated lima beans as a kid and they are one of my favorites now, so these are probably good ones to try yourself. Hope you enjoy them, stay cool and enjoy some fun in the kitchen! Cheers, Caroline

This looks so good and I’d love to try it. I’m trying to eliminate or reduce my gluten intake. Is there a good substitute for the bread in this recipe or would it be best to eliminate it?

Hi Linda. Thanks for your question. I’m sure you’re not the only person with gluten sensitivity and others might be wondering about this too. My guess is that the almonds themselves will provide enough “heft” and thickening power to avoid the bread so I would give it a try although I haven’t done it myself. Or if you can source some gluten-free bread that might work well too. Best of luck with it! Cheers, Caroline

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll give it a try with just the almonds and see.
