A power efficient combo
Does it work with you on 1080p ultra games with the highest number of AAA games without problems
Thanks for that! Just bought my Asus Dual 4060, happy new year!
Hi just wondering how the asus dual has been for you? any issues at all or was it good?
Does it work with you on 1080p ultra games with the highest number of AAA games without problems
@@user-pe1ge5md4d the 4060 can easily run almost all AAA games above 60fps with no problems. make sure you match it with a good cpu like the 13400f or 12400f
I have an i7 11700f and 4060, CS 2 produces 170-220 fps on both ultra and low settings, besides, in online games like CS Battlefield 4060 never loads more than 60-70%, and in offline games like cyberpunk 92- 98% (the processor is always loaded at 30-50%), this is problem?
What RAM and how many modules?
You need 2x8GB or 2x16GB, with a frequency of 3200MHz, if you did not configure this in the BIOS, then the base frequency will be automatically set to 2400MHz or 2666MHz.
For example, if there is 1x16GB, then your computer will show 100 FPS, with 80% processor load, and if 2x8GB, then FPS will be 10-90% higher, but the processor load will be the same - 80% (in fact, it will consume more energy, but the load percentage will be the same)
Another problem may be in the motherboard; it may have a processor power limit set, which significantly reduces performance.
You can enable CPU core frequency display in MSI Afterburner, if the core frequency drops below 4400MHz, it means that the motherboard has a power limit that is not enough.
If you have a cheap motherboard without heatsinks on the power supply circuits, then most likely it cannot provide power more than 65-95W, this is not enough for the i7 11700F processor to fully operate, that is, the FPS will be lower than it could.
@@FrameOne I have 1x16GB, with a frequency of 3200MHz (the other day they will deliver a second one for 16 GB)
the processor always runs at 4400 MHz (so everything should be fine here) motherboard - asus prime b560m-a
@@alexhrechukha9762 its your one stick on 16gb thats holding it back
I'm considering the same combo , will you recommended it ?
May I ask on what CPU cooler you are using for that build? R u using the intel stock cooler?
No, Deepcool Red Hat
Hello friend, why doesn't the i5-13400f go beyond 4100mhz? On the Intel website it says it goes up to 4600mhz
This is the maximum frequency, usually it is used when only a few processor cores are used, in games this situation is rare
good combo, i took also the i5 13400F, but a newest B760 mobo with 32gb ddr4 corsair ram, and the RTX 4060 Ti with 16 GB VRAM, playing mostly cod games where the vram goes crazy up to 13-14 gb. I was about to do a budget pc with i5 12400F + rtx 3060 12GB, but i realized the 4-th series of nvidia with dlss and frame generation are better for most new games on the market, and the "Ti" version gets about 30% more FPS which i prefer more, should be enough power for next 2-3 years
I don't like DLSS and Frame Generation because of the reduced picture quality and increased input latency, but the Nvidia 4000 series is still very good, especially in terms of power consumption
I have an RTX 4060 with an i5 13400f. 32GB DDR5. Is this a good starter setup? What should I upgrade first if/when I do for better performance?
BRO YOU CAN USE 4060TI INSTEAD OF 4060 ONLY TO HAVE A BEAST EXPERIENCE
If you have a 1080p monitor, there is no point in changing the video card.
It is better to buy a 1440p or 4K monitor first, and then buy a video card, for example RTX 4070 Super.
If you want to upgrade in the future get a new graphics card otherwise you should be good for a while
My brother 4060 cannot meet the required capacity of Intel i5 13400f. I think it would be an unnecessary move to change the graphics card to 4060 ti. It would be great if you upgrade your processor to 3.4 mhz instead of 2.5 mhz
@@Engin-142 dude what are u talking about "MHZ" 😆 i5 13400F runs on TURBO between 4100-4600 mhz it depends on the mobo settings, i have also a i5 13400F it can easily handle a "RTX 4070 Ti Super" in most games with the GPU LOAD to 99%. Guys you better stop talking here because this is madness what you creating 😆 And - YES, if you building now a new RIG better go with the 4060Ti it got more POWER about 20-30% more fps. @joonbug82 And you mate, just let it go right now to switch the GPU 1 model up, because it's non sens in your situation right now. But keep the i5 13400F, get into the bios and set performance by mobo, unlock all features, disable all power states, enable turbo, and you will be good with 4.1-4.6 GHZ while gaming like me, this i5 has 10 CORES and 16 THREADS guys - Educate yourself first. With this i5 13400F u can get a RTX 4070 even a 4070 Ti Super in some case depends on the resolution and quality settings
Dumb question but why does it show only 4100MHz processor clock if it can go up to 4600 as labeled? I have the same one
4.6GHz is the maximum frequency of a single core. This works when a small part of the processor threads is loaded, in modern games this is a rarity
it says on the official website for the i5 1300f that the max compatibility ram speed is 4800 mhz, if i were to build the same pc with like 6000 mhz ram would my cpu reduce how fast the ram is and only consume 4800 mhz from it instead of 6000 mhz? thanks
Even if you put 6000 mhz, the maximum it can be is 4800
how do you get like the framerates thing like the whole thing?
Using the MSI Afterburner Software.
i have 4060 proart 8 gb i5 13400f 16 ram and i got on epic 70-80 fps why?
Ddr4 or ddr5?
@@JeffersonSovereignI got ddr5 and 32gb and running the same
He's running DirectX11 which has lower graphics, you probably ran DirectX12
What resolution are you playing on because hes playing on 1080p you might be playing on a higher resolution. If not then idk
You can always try dlss3 maybe he had it enabled to or something idk

Yes
should i go with a 4060 ti i5 13400f or a rtx4060 i5 13600k
4060ti and 13490f
Intel i5 13400f

Is this good ?
Of course fella
That's great
If you are an Indian, try going for non eagle gigabyte 4060. It costs 2000 more because it is company overclocked and hence offers more performance with even better cooling.
Same built like mine, just built it 2 weeks ago. Msi ventus 4060, same MB, msi spatium pro ssd + headsink, 32gb ddr 5 Xpg lancer blade, and msi mag 650w 80g powersuplay

@@T00RNAD00 i've checked it mate, and it's even up to 5000mhz.
also tried various games including triple A's, it runs perfectly fine.
but yeah, i've been thinking of some upgrades, or maybe moving to 1440P build (with DDR5) for future needs.
me everytime searching up and planning to buy a hardware. Some random mfs Thumbnail on yt:
"Worst graphic cards?"
"This is why you should't buy this",
"Why would I never recommend to buy this?"
Btw planning to buy RTX 4060 after this (Thanks for the vid)
I have a 4060 Ti 8gb, I would strongly recommend getting the RTX 4060 Ti 8gb instead of the RTX 4060 8gb, it has about 25% more fps for $100 more. Just don't get the RTX 4060 Ti 16gb, it is a scam due to its low bandwidth, which makes the 16gb of Vram useless.
Put simply: ($290) RTX 4060 8gb < ($370) RTX 4060 Ti 8gb > ($450) RTX 4060 Ti 16gb. The ($370) RTX 4060 Ti 8gb is the best value of all the RTX 4060 cards. DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THE 16GB CARD.
Edit: Of course you can do whatever you want, but if you can I would say it's well worth it to save a little extra for the Ti version of the card.

This is a good option, but uses expensive components that won't give you FPS
