🌲🌳 Oxapampa is considered to be the cleanest city in Peru, and it is part of a “National Biosphere”, recognised by UNESCO in 2010, with an extension of 1.8 million hectares. The area is characterised by mega-diverse forests, with more than 5000 plant species, 127 species of mammals, 321 bird species, 71 fish species, 75 amphibians and 306 butterfly species.
