Some lucky person got a great little ride , thanks for posting , love seeing the old Ramblers , had a 65 330 with a 6 banger when I was a young man , I loved it , it was great for going to the drive-in , and school , work . fishing, shopping , never failed me , Oh yes the good old days
That's a 1962 not a 1963, the 63 didn;t have a body line and a single chrome side molding, the 62 had the body line and no chrome. My best friend and I just bought a 62 330 Wagon and it's a total heap but it won't be for the long. Were going to yank the seats out and fix the floors, and it just so happens that he has a wrecked 72 Dart with bucket seats, a 318 and an A 904 3 speed automatic in it, so guess what your using for the power train? You can't beat free...... then were going to paint it a silver color with the body line and roof Indian Red, because well we both work for Indian Motorcycles....... then were taking it on the Hot Rod Power tour next year.
This car has the same chrome as my 63 American 330 wagon. The 220 model is devoid of the chrome strip, all 3 years of this body style. The grille on this one is a '61, but little difference between the 61, 62, and 63 except for a different grille each year. The 440 model, If two toned, has an additional chrome strip, at the belt line, making a spear shaped area all down the upper side, and around the back, for the secondary color. Roof can be had with either base color, or secondary color.
@@ramblerdave1339 You're talking the Sedan and coupe models, I'm talking about the Wagons, what i said is correct, The 63 and 64 330 wagons didn't have a body line or the chrome. The 440's had both but the 220 and 330 did not.
@@TheREALOC1972 Those of us who know these cars, know who's correct, and know that '63, and 64, are completely different chassis, unibody, and wheelbase. 61-63 were designed by Edmund Andersons team, and 64-65 by Richard Teague's team, as was the 66-69 refresh. My 1963 Rambler American 330, 4 door wagon, has 36,000 miles on it, and is all original, and has a chrome strip that goes at an angle, from the upper ( headlight level) of the front fender to the back of the car, and across the tailgate, just above the taillights (as seen on my thumbnail). Also have the '63 Rambler Station Wagon brochure, showing all their wagons in their different variations, and mine matches what the brochure shows, and describes.
nice little practical wagon! would have been a big car here in germany at the time!
SOLD!

Son Of the Beach!
Awesome car
Pla Pla Pla Pla!!!
Nice
The OHV six was optional. Significant.
Yes, 37 more horsepower, with 1 barrel, and another 11, with 2 barrel carb (available only on 440 model).
63 was an ENTIRELY different body style, with a CONCAVE front end, that looked like an OLD MAN that wasn't wearing his false TEETH. 🤪.
You're thinking of the '63 Rambler Classic, entirely different body size and style. 63 was the last year of this body, on the American.
