this is super cool! love how you are able to take it apart and see inside & the magazine looks big enough to load longer ruberbands. Ive been working on something similar in lego for a while now. 3 round burst is definitely a tricky thing to pull off reliably with 1/16" rubber bands, the entire mechanism needs to be really low friction & even once I got it working the slow fire rate kinda makes the purpose void besides looking/sounding cool
I have a couple of other designs for burst fire but I haven't explored them much. The biggest downside I think is being limited to 20 or so rubber bands. Still, it sure does look and sound cool!
The G11 was way ahead of its time. And because of budget cuts, HK had no choice but to scrap it
