You two are hilarious! I really enjoy the zingers that you sling at each other in good-natured fun while you work. I love the work you are doing on your homestead. Keep the great vlogs coming.
I have said it before, but gladly say it once more that you two are the perfect couple and have what it takes to get plenty of work completed. A good example of that is how you all worked together to get that sheetrock up on the ceiling and walls. That is great that you all decided to build your own home and also the storage building you put up.
Erin, you are one very brave and determined lady. Dry-walling is a tough job. All respect; you did a fantastic job. And it helps to have a patient, understanding husband by your side. You make a great team.
The camera work is impressive for being just you two. The partnership is beyond goal! I am so happy to see a couple that enjoy each other so well! .....and your daughter offering the artwork at the beginning??? Sooooooo cute!!! " Can I let go now?" " Can I let go now?" 😂😂😂😂
All my shed/ mechanical area experiences I have found that plywood painted white two coats on the walls makes it so much better for mounting control boxes, piping, wire etc
I LOVE you guys! Had a really crappy day, but you guys always make me laugh and think - don't sweat the small stuff, even though at the time it seems big. Admire your strength and tenacity! God bless, kiss and hug those babes! Got to see my great grandson today, has been over 3 months since last time and he has grown coo much! 😘😇
Good to see you get one over on her and it was a good one. About da wedding day dat is.I so enjoy watching you guys. Thank you for the smiles you've given.
I wouldn't want to sand the drywall either... but it will look great no matter what you decide to do. You both have done a great job so far, this will not be anything different. Thanks for sharing!
My late husband and I were both in the Army in the old underpaid days so, we had part-time and side jobs that most times were doing carpentry. Jimmy didn't like working sheetrock, but would help hang it. I had in years previously trained/worked subcontract as a drywall finisher so, I was elected. Sanding mud is the only step I did not care for although it went faster with a sanding screen. When it became available, I began using a featherlight product that didn't need sanding and if need be could be wiped smooth with a damp sponge. If Sheetrock was well butted, many finishers would trowel on a second quick thin coat and bypass the taping step. The stuff was great to work with; quick, easy and clean and a little of the product went a long way.
Chuck in a “dimpler” drywall bit into your impact driver. It will give you consistent screw depth stops and a dimple for drywall mud. About $4 at stores. You will be glad you bought it!
The closest we ever came to divorce was hanging lap siding on our first house... the reconciliation point was a mutual agreement that she decorates and I build. Whatever it takes... that’s how we do it! Nice to see you push through the hard and the fun parts together.
Jim Healey A better joke would have been “that’s what YOU did on your wedding day”. I just think it’s funnier to be the butt of your own joke rather than insulting someone else.
It really is enjoyable to see great teamwork in action! Erin is like a working supermodel. Josh could be a calendar boy. Maybe a model less the beard. No homo. And kids that are totally adorable. Y’all are blessed. Take care now, ‘ya hear. ☮️ From a grumpy old man in TN. 😊
yep dry walling in the A-frame roof from my experience is exhausting. me and my wife did ours and your video today just brings back memories. Wait till you start mudding ,thats a next trial.. ..
Hanging drywall is really difficult. It's even more difficult to finish it. Might want to consider contracting that job. Even great builders hire drywall pros. There's no shame in that. Once again, another great video. Love watching your progress.
Kenneth Rand I agree. I work with people who’s favorite work(s) are “ it ain’t my job “ or “ it’s that your job “ or “ I don’t know how to do it anymore, so you do it “. Said thing, I have a who department like this.....
Clever pun! LOL Yes, she hangs, very, very well--as you both know very well. But I must lodge an strong objection to your videos. They are so good, so interesting, so well done, tell such an engaging story, and are therefore such a pleasure to watch that I head straight to them as soon as I see your notification. You are therefore pushers of addictive videos.... :-)
Your comments always mean a lot to me! Lets me know all the "little things" aren't going unnoticed. I have so much fun capturing the different things I find beautiful and trying to make it all come together in a cohesive way. Im always learning and trying to improve the videos! Thanks for watching and commenting!
You two always make me laugh. Y'all just crack me up and the bloopers. Loved the intro and always enjoy the music. The outside looks awesome. Yea, I don't even know if I would mud, tape and paint it lol. I hate drywall with a passion. Inside my place is going to be tongue and groove
I am artist designer of human figure and I've studied too much about human expressions. Its very nice the kind she looks him. Ever with a passionate look. She really loves him. Keep going, couple!
Yae, the outside is done! I think she is tougher than she looks. I like the dark outside with that bright inside. You guys are bad :) Thanks for the entertainment. I get to go play with my homesteading son and grandson in a few days.
Well you asked, we all know who wears "the" pants in the family and cracks the whip when the old man gets home from work! Yes Erin can whip his behind, AFTER Josh has put in a full day on top of the commute. Can't wait for the next video for my inspiration to keep moving on my own projects!
For MHO I would have put plywood and be able to hand all types of stuff on the any walls plus you can just paint it (no mud, no sanding, nice and simple) AND a Window add some natural light IF your putting the laundry in that shed you will be spending more time than you think in it. Anyways LOVE your episodes (even the burnt wood is growing on me ;)
Josh....don't even think about mudding without sanding......it may be messy and take time...but it's only got to be done once......do it properly and you will love the job at the end of it!
I ruined a brand new $2000 front door by not using low expansion foam! Foam expanded onto the new finished door and sidelights. Oh well, cleaned it up and sold the house.
lmao I didn't know building was so much fun till i started watching your vlogs :-) lol Erin when Josh is a bad boy you can send him to the shed :-) Have a great weekend take care.
Looks Great. Nothing a little mud can't fix. TIP, Instead of sanding with sandpaper, use a Brillo Pad type sander, use it WET. NO DUST and does a great job. Just knock off the high spots with your putty knife, then WET Sand, Prime and Paint. U Have come a very long way‼️👍👍🚜. Vinny 🇺🇸
You have a great wife and family. Truly a rich man. Love your craftsmanship.
You two are hilarious! I really enjoy the zingers that you sling at each other in good-natured fun while you work. I love the work you are doing on your homestead. Keep the great vlogs coming.
YOU GO, GIRL! Man, you're lucky your wife has a great sense of humor and a hell of a helper.
Even though you felt uncomfortable, you still gave it a go..true grit girl, true grit..definitely a keeper. Great couple and great family :-)
You guys crack me up,the banter between you reminds me the guys at work. Don't worry Erin, only the main house to go then no more dry wall.
I have said it before, but gladly say it once more that you two are the perfect couple and have what it takes to get plenty of work completed. A good example of that is how you all worked together to get that sheetrock up on the ceiling and walls. Love watching you guys work. Thanks so much. Wish all people got along that well. May GOD bless you and your Family.
Man, I just love the energy in your videos. It is simply the best. Add that to the massive information and you have a real winner
Erin, you are one very brave and determined lady. Dry-walling is a tough job. All respect; you did a fantastic job. And it helps to have a patient, understanding husband by your side. You make a great team.
You guys are just adorable to watch. What a team united with a goal. Thanks for sharing!

I love doing drywall and finishing it. I wish I was close enough to come help.
Well, I think Josh finally got Erin with that remark about the wedding. Personally, I wouldn't mud at all, just some white paint. Love your teamwork.
They need this small out of the way project to get a little practice in if they plan on doing the house....
love you guys, keep going strong. enjoy the neck ache tomorrow! If I weren't in oregon I would offer my help. God bless
Ya guys did great & I'm with ya on dry stuff - thks for sharing - keep up & have a blessed day eh - kirk out

Chuck in a “dimpler” drywall bit into your impact driver. It will give you consistent screw depth stops and a dimple for drywall mud. About $4 at stores. You will be glad you bought it!
Yes those bits work surprisingly well I was impressed when I bought them but then I just went out and bought a drywall gun😏
